It was the evening of the ball that Jackson was so hyped about. The pair had already left their "house", and were halfway to the venue they were required to be at.

"It's cold." BamBam frowned. They were walking to the place on Jackson's request, and BamBam had to comply.

"It's not that bad." Jackson replied flatly, clearly trying to hide behind his bad-boy persona.

"What's going to happen here?" BamBam questioned.

"There'll be some food, announcements, then we dance." Jackson shot back.

"I can't dance though."

"Oh well."

And that's how the conversation continued; with BamBam trying to make small-talk and Jackson being very fast and sharp to reply.

Once they arrived at the house, which was extremely large and eerie, they were welcomed in by several blood-sucking beasts. BamBam hated this - surely he was going to get found out.

"Jackson." A vampire bowed to Jackson.

"Kihyun." Jackson bowed back. "I was not expecting you to be here."

"What must you take me for? How could I miss this?" Kihyun chuckled. "Ah, but who is this?" He motioned towards BamBam.

"Ah! This is BamBam. He is not from this area, so please forgive him if he fails to comply to our formalities, which is often the case." Jackson drawled. BamBam found this quite offensive.

"I see." Kihyun strode over towards BamBam and began sniffing his neck. BamBam was having flashbacks to when he first met Jackson, and how Jackson was also doing this to him.
"You smell ever so sweet, BamBam. May I ask your blood type?"

"I, um, it's-" BamBam stuttered.

"He doesn't know." Jackson cut in.

"How inconvenient. Just yesterday did I suck the living hell out of a human's neck, and they smelled exactly like you. How can that be?"

"He did the same a few hours ago, so naturally, he will still smell of the human he attacked." Jackson once again saved him.

"Jackson, please, let the poor boy speak! Tell me BamBam, where exactly do you come from?" Kihyun stood directly in front of BamBam.

"...Woodbridge" BamBam guessed. Maybe if he was not from this surrounding continent, he would be let off the hook.

"Ah yes! Woodbridge! What a splendid place indeed! And how is it there?"

"Many people to draw blood from." BamBam shyly smiled, unsure if that was a correct answer, and if he sounded sophisticated enough.

"Perfect." Kihyun patted BamBam's back before striding off.

"You idiot!" Jackson smacked the back of BamBam's head before dragging him over to the corner of the large hallway.

"What do you mean?"

"Can't you do anything right? Why did I even bring you. What am I even doing keeping you?" Jackson spat.

"What?"

"I should just let you go."

"Ok."

A slap could be heard echoing throughout the walls. BamBam's face had received a sharp hug from Jackson's palm.

Jackson strode off, not caring whether BamBam was following or not.

BamBam didn't follow. He just stood there in the corner, trying to make himself as small as possible.
