A Glimpse of the Past

Third person's point of view

After the scene at the rest room, Irene never visited back at the hospital until Seulgi fully recovered and got discharged from the hospital. The past few days made Seulgi worried not seeing Irene. It felt like there's something missing not seeing Irene even just for one day. Seulgi tried to call Irene but didn't pick up the phone even once.

"Are you bothered?" Yerim asked seeing Seulgi pouting at the corner of her room while looking at her phone.

"Hmm?" Seulgi answered back.

"Irene is outside" Yerim said. It made Seulgi jumped from her seat and smiled widely.

"Really???" Yerim chuckled at how silly her sister could be.

"Unnie, If you miss her and want to see her, just go to her." Yerim advised.

"But I don't know what to say to her" Seulgi worried. Yerim sigh seeing Seulgi like that.

"Just be Kang Seulgi" Yerim advised back and left the room. Yerim thought that be it the guard attitude Seulgi or the Ddeulgi today, Irene will accept her and will be happy to see Seulgi no matter what. And the Seulgi right now is a jolly person who has a bright personality who acts younger that Yerim most of the time but in a good way. She knew that Seulgi's charm can reach Irene. For a moment, Yerim was proud thinking of that but she noticed that Seulgi didn't leave her room that made Yerim lose her patients. She opened the door and dragged Seulgi and pushed her out the house.

"Don't come back unless you met Irene and had a selfie with her as a proof" Yerim shut the door closed after saying her words. Seulgi just sat in front of their house while looking at the door in disbelief of what Yerim just did. But she realized that her younger sister just wants to help her so she stood up and took out the business card Irene gave and went to the address.

Irene's point of view

I heard from Moonbyul that Seulgi was discharged from the hospital but I can't bring myself to call her or go to her. That moment she kissed me at the rest room keeps on playing back, her facial expression after the kiss that I can't read. It felt like I kissed someone who sees me as a complete stranger, for that I felt embarrassed and hurt at the same time especially when she didn't say a thing after that kiss. I wanted that kiss so bad but I guess it's just me who could remember.

"Stupid Seulgi!" I blurted to myself while looking at the ground. I was seated outdoor for a commercial shooting and was waiting for the next part.

"Irene, want me to buy you some coffee?" Wendy offered thinking I was tired but the truth was that I'm sad. I just nodded staring blankly at the floor.

"Anything else you li--" Wendy was cut off as her phone dropped on the floor and was totally silent after that. I looked up at Wendy who looks surprised and was slowly pointing at a direction in disbelief. I followed with my eyes where she's pointing at and see my stupid bear standing in front of me. It made me stood abruptly for seeing her unexpectedly. She was holding 2 coffees in a coffee holder and for a moment she stared at me lovingly. She walked towards us and placed the coffee in front of us.

"Here" she said while smiling brightly. I took the coffee while Wendy was still in shocked.

"Could you be.." Wendy trailed off examining Seulgi from head to toe that made Seulgi noticed.

"I'm Kang Seulgi" Seulgi said innocently and bowed to Wendy. Hearing that made Wendy gone crazy for not telling her earlier that my guard came back then I explained everything and that Seulgi doesn't remember anything. Wendy was happy seeing her saviour so she decided to buy some food for us. After Wendy was gone, I looked back at Seulgi.
