Chapter 1 "I don't need your love"

Ashley's POV

"Remember to feed your baby brother and the dog. Everything you need is on the table top. An-"

"Okay mom, I get it." I said

"Alright.We'll be going now! See you soon! Bye my sweets!!" She said kissing me and my brother on the cheek

"Say bye to mommy, Chase." I said to my baby brother while waving his hand

With one last wave of goodbye from mom, she and dad drove off to go to Canada.

"You wanna sleep now, Chasy?" I asked when I saw Chasy rubbing his eyes and yawning

The baby simply nodded his head.

"Ok, Let's get you to bed." I said carrying him upstairs to his room and to his bed.

When I was about to leave his room, he said

"Ashwy, wer yu goin?" Chasy asked

"I'm just gonna make you some milk. I'll be right back." I said before closing the door and not waiting for his reply

I went downstairs to the kitchen and started to boil water. While the water was boiling, I got food for our dog, Buster, and put it in his bowl. After that, I checked the water if it was warm enough.

Then I got a bottle and powdered milk from the cupboards, put the milk in the bottle ,closed it then shake it 'til it was perfectly blended. Then I went back to Chasy's room and gave him his bottle.

"Tank yu, Ashwy." giving me the bottle.

After that, He went back to sleep. I went downstairs to put the bottle in the sink. Then I went back upstairs to my room to take a bath.

While I was taking a bath, I heard someone ringing the doorbell.

" In a minute!" hoping the person would hear me.

Then I hurried in taking a bath and putting on my clothes. Then I ran downstairs to our front door and open it.

When I opened the door, I didn't expect to see the face I saw. I opened the door and saw Adam. He was the richest, hottest player not to mention man-whore in our school.

" What are you doing here?" I asked coldly

" I need your help." looking me in the eye pleadingly

" I'm sorry but I can't help you. My parents are not he-" I didn't get to finish my sentence 'cause I saw Adam lunge at me making me hit the floor.

"What the heck?!?!?" shouting at him

"Shhh. Keep quiet or they'll hear you." He whispered to me

We were quiet for a while then I remembered that he was on top of me and our faces were inches apart.

"Whose 'they'? " blushing red as Santa's coat on Christmas while trying to wriggle out from under his body

When I stood up, I looked at the door and saw that it was closed. When I looked at Adam again, He was already standing up.

" None of your business." dusting off his chest and legs

We stood there for a couple of minutes then I asked

" What are you still doing here?" breaking the silence

" I told you, I need your help." looking frazzled

"Why can't you ask Brittany?" I asked him wondering why he would choose me instead of his girlfriend.

" Well, I was thinking that they would expect me going there." rubbing the back of his neck

" Well, You're not welcome here if you don't tell me who the freak is 'they'!" crossing my hands on my chest and looking at him seriously

'sigh'

" Fine. I'll tell you. " he said looking defeated
