BBS X Reader One-Shots

~For Forever~ Lui Calibre

A/N- You and Lui are currently in college.

"So (Y/N), what was your first date with Lui like?" Mrs. Calibre, Lui's mom, asked me. Lui and I have been dating for a couple months now, but this is the first time I have actually gotten to get to know his mom.
"Let's see, it was the end of May or early June," I began. "During what I can only describe as a picture perfect afternoon, we drove the winding country road, and grabbed a scoop at À La Mode before we were there. It was an open field that was framed with trees. We quoted songs from our favorite bands and told jokes no one would understand except us two." I stopped talking for a bit as I remembered all the jokes we made and how that was the day I truely fell in love with Lui's laugh.
"Go on," Mrs. Calibre said, obviously intrigued.
"Okay," I replied letting out a little giggle. "We walked awhile and talked about the things we'll do when we get out of school. Like bike the Appalachian trail, or write a book, or learn how to sail, we thought that would be cool. After awhile, he looked around and said to me, 'There's no where else I'd rather be.' And I said, 'Me too.'"
"Keep going." I could see the joy in her eyes as I spoke.
"And then he raced towards the tallest tree. From far across the yellow field I heard him calling, 'Follow me!' And there we go wondering how the world might look from up so high. One foot after the other. One branch then to another. I climbed higher and higher. I climbed till the entire sun shined on my face." My smile began to falter a little bit. "Then I suddenly felt the branch give way. Next thing I knew I was on the ground. My arm went numb. I looked around, and I saw coming to get. And everything was okay."
"Are you telling her about our first date?" A voice behind me asked, as they wrapped their arms around me and kissed my cheek.
"Yep," I replied booping his nose.
"I still can't believe you didn't break up with me after that," he chuckled shaking his head.
"Why?" I questioned. "It showed that you loved and cared about me." I gave him a little kiss on the cheek to give him some reassurance that I wasn't upset about the little incident. "If anything, it made the date better."
"You've found yourself a one of a kind girl, Lui," Mrs. Calibre said with a smile. "You won't be able to find anyone else as wonderful as (Y/N), so make sure you take good care of her and cherish her."
"I will mom," Lui replied with a smile as he rested his chin on my shoulder.
