On our way over there I text my sister to go pick me up. And not to tell mom or dad. She agreed and She said she would meet us at the WRB. We got to our room and Atom was in there. I fixed Atom a bit then someone came in. It was Caroline. My oldest sister. "Hey Charlie."

"Caroline. What are you doing here?"

"Im here to pick up Y/n and take her home." I went to my stuff and started packing up.

"See you soon kid."

"Bye Charlie. I'll see you at the gym." I gave him a hug and Caroline did the same.

"Your leaving?" I looked at Max and nod. "Why?!"

"I'm a distraction to you. Wouldnt want Atom here to lose this chance at the WRB. Bye..." Max kept telling me things but I ignored him and walked out and got in the car with Caroline. "Time to go home..."

"You can stay at my place if you want?"

"I was planning on stayimg with Bailey. But your house is a few blocks away so sure..."

Max p.o.v.

"Kid what was that about?" I looked at the door and saw Y/n walking away out of my sight.

"Nothing."

"Sure. Anyways. I want you to stay relaxed. No freaking out. Dont get all freaky-deaky on me. You go freaky-deaky this whole thing can go south. Whatever you do have fun, have fun."

Fighting Twin Cities was tough but we pulled through. I was able to challenge Farra and Zeus to a fight but this victory didnt seem complete. "Look at this lets celebrate!"

"Yeah!"

"Its 70-30 right?"

"No 50-25-25."

"Y/n's not here anymore remember 70-30." I glanced around and remmebered she's not here. "Oh kid what did you tell her to make her wanna leave?"

"She... She told me she likes me and-".

"And you rejected her feeling saying rhe big time was more important and you cant be distracted."

"Yea... How did you-"

"I made the same mistake with Bailey. Worst thing I ever did. Once she was gone I found my own feelings. And I was able to tell from the start you have a thing for her."

"I do?"

"Ask yourself how do you feel now she's gone?"

"Kind of dissapointed... Sad... Lonely..."

"There you go. You do have a thing for the little boxing, mechanic, bot fighter." I sighed and now I see the mistake. "Thank you Twin Cities! We set?"

"Yep."

"Lets do it."

"Charlie boy!"

"Ricky, I was just going to call you." 
"Oh, yeah."

"I actually really was going to call you." I was being cautious about these men. 

"Don't worry about that. That was a heck of a fight. Congratulations to both of you. That was good. It was an amazing fight. That was a great job, young man."

"All right. What do you want? You want 25, 30? You want 30 grand? Yeah, right. Let's go! Max, go! Go, go! Run! - Run! Come on. Keep up, keep up!" We were running away from the 3 and right now I'm so glad Y/n isn't here. 

"Take all his money. Take it all. Your friend's a real dirtbag, kid."
