Chapter 14

THE BOOK HAS BEEN BORING BUT I PROMISE ITS GETTING GOOD. Its 'only the beginning'.

     <Sierra Pov<
    I hopped out of my car and made my way into the mall. I went into h&m, forever 21, sephora and i was going into the apple store because i needed a new MacBook. I walked in but only to see Zach.
I was happy to see him but at the same time, i wasnt.
He looked like he was looking at the new phones. Maybe his broke? Its none of my business anyway. So i just decided to do what i came to do and then leave.

I looked for the front desk, oah great, its behind Zach.
I just needed to do it, get it over with. So i just walked carefully towards the desk trying not to be noticed. But just as i was beside him he turned his head and looked at me.
He looked scared like as if i just killed someone and when i thought he was gonna say something hejust turned his head back to where he was looking at the phones.
I stood there, i was confused. A worker then broke the silence and asked me what he could help me with today.
"Umm could i get the MacBook Pro?"
"Of course, can i get a color?"
"Grey, please"
"Of course, i will be back in a minute"
The worker then walked towards the back room. I checked around the store but i couldnt find Zach anywhere.
I then spotted him at the counter, he was paying for a new phone. But why?

The worker then came back with the laptop and told me to follow him to the front desk to pay.
When we got to the desk Zach noticed me and turned the other way.
The worker started taping the keys and asked me if i wanted to pay cash or card. I told him card. He took a moment to get the thing ready for me to pay with card. During those slow seconds the rest of the boys walked into the store and towards Zach. I tapped his shoulder and he turned towards me.
"Hi?" I asked, unsure of what to say.
"Hi" he replied barely audible.
"Soo..... what're u doin here?"
"Buying stuff" he said with a obvious tone.
"Im not stupid, this is a mall, yes i know ur buying stuff" i asked beginning to raise my voice and get angry because he was talking to me as if i was stupid, just before Zach could answer the worker cut him off "Um miss, there is a small problem with the machine so it if you could just stay here for a moment for me to fix the problem unless you would like to pay with cash" "Uh thats ok, i will wait, thank you" "your welcome, i will just be right back to fix this" he then walked away and my attention was back towards Zach.
"Then why did u bother to ask?!" He said also starting to get angry. By now the boys were beside him asking what was going on.
"YOUR FRIEND IS BEING AN ASS IS WHATS GOING ON" i snapped, and with that, Zach stormed out of the store and into the big crowd of shoppers. The boys looked at me, then at Zach and ran after him.

I put my head in my hands trying to calm myslef down, lucky for me there was only like 5 people in the store at the time.

The worker came back to me and fixed the machine, i swiped my card put in the pin and then made my way out of the mall.

WHATS GOTTEN INTO HIM?! Was the thought that kept finding its way back into my head all day.
