it has past a few days since JJ had arrived at the house. Namjoon was sitting in the living room reading a book as JJ had come out of her room groaning, and huffing around the house.
"Namjoon I'm bored let's go do something" JJ suggested now sitting next to him
"Like what?" Namjoon question them looking up from his book
"I don't know.. we could go to the park.. we could go to the mall.. we could literally just go outside" JJ started suggesting a bunch of random stuff
"okay, Let's head out" Namjoon ended up just agreeing with them
"Period!" JJ sparkled with excitement
Namjoon and JJ started getting ready to head out they decided they were going to the mall together.
{Meanwhile}
Seokjin was at the mall waiting on his date, he had almost forgot about it. Rose had shot him a text the night before that reminded him he had plans already.
"Hey, Jin!" Rose called out to him as she noticed he was waiting at the food court
"Hey, rose" Seokjin replied standing up from his seat to greet her
"I'm a little nervous sorry" Rose smiled shyly
"you're good, we're just on a date" Seokjin replied as they were now walking side by side
The pair didn't have much to talk about as they walked together. They were a little quite at first but as they went store into store small talk would grow between them. It had pasted a few hours when they decided to go back to the food court.
"do you have any interest?" Rose asked as they were sitting down together
"I don't really think so" Seokjin replied giving her a thinking face
"you don't think so?" Rose asked giggling, Seokjin chuckled with her realizing what he said
"what do you do when you're home?" she asked him
"I don't know, nothing much?" he replied with a smile still on his face
They laughed together when until Seokjin heard "Namjoon!" over the loud crowed getting his attention. Rose laughing drifted as she watched him looking around the court, she scanned the large crowed when their eyes focused on an others voice.
"Jin!" JJ called out to him, noticing him sitting down
"Hey" Seokjin replied standing up from his chair waving her over
"yo, what's good? who's this?" JJ asked now standing in front of their table
"This is Rose, a classmate" Seokjin introduce her, she smiled back at them as a greeting
"hey, I'm JJ, what are y'all doing?" JJ asked introducing herself just when Namjoon had spotted her
"we're on a date" Rose replied with a small blush right when Namjoon had walked up to the table
Seokjin had noticed Namjoon arriving right when she explained their eyes meeting. JJ turned around greeting him, he stayed quite.
"we should go, enjoy your date" JJ noticed something a little off and decided it'd be best to leave, Namjoon agreed avoiding his glance as they turn to walk away.
"Namjoon wait" Seokjin called out his name, without thinking he was about to follow them
"we're still on a date" Rose had tugged on his shirt speaking, Seokjin stop looking back at her he smiled giving him another glance he sat back down with her. "I'm sorry" he apologize
As Namjoon and JJ walked away from the table they walked side by side now the aura of the conversation. "Namjoon wait" they could hear Seokjin calling out for him, JJ stop.
"JJ, please" he ignored the call for his name as he keep walking
"I didn't say anything!" JJ followed behind, curious about the situation
Seokjin was conflicted with himself, but he had looked over at Rose who seem a little sad.
"are you okay?" Seokjin asked feeling guilty
"yeah, I'm fine" she replied giving him a quick smile
Seokjin looked back at his half eating food not knowing what to say.
"Jin, I don't think this is the right moment to be dating you" Rose broke the silence
"Dating?, I wasn't thinking of dating you" he replied confused
"that's why I asked you out, I wanted you to be my boyfriend" Rose explained to him
"Rose I'm sorry" he apologized, he heard her sigh but then she patted his shoulder
"no, it's okay, I should have made it more clear. I can see you're already interested in someone else" she replied to him, even when she smiled he could feel she was sad
"I'm not dating anyone" Seokjin replied, confused again
"I'm not the one who needs to tell you how you feel. I'm sorry I caused the problems" Rose apologized getting up from the table she patted his head before saying goodbye and walking away.
Seokjin watched as she walked away from the table, confused and guilty he wasn't sure what he should do next. Seokjin stayed at the food court a little longer letting himself fall into deep thoughts.
{Meanwhile}
"are you okay?" JJ asked as they walked into a book shop
"I'm fine" Namjoon replied quickly
"we should go back, he called out for you" JJ suggested
"No" Namjoon another quick reply this time a little frustration
"Come on man, tell me what's up" JJ getting frustrated herself
Namjoon stop walking, looking at her she frowned at him. JJ slapped his arm waiting.
"I like him, but he doesn't like me alright?" Namjoon confessed walking away from her
"what?, when?, how?, Namjoon don't walk away" JJ repeated questions following behind him
"I don't know, shut up" Namjoon replied getting a little embarrassed
"Namjoon, he called out for you" JJ said grabbing the back of his shirt making him stop again
"we're just friends" Namjoon said in a low tone of voice, he sounded heart broken
"friends don't look at each other like that, you need to stop beating around the bush. You'll regret never confessing" JJ firmly told him letting go of his shirt
Namjoon rolled his eyes walking away from her, he stood in front of one of the book shelf grabbing a book just opening it he couldn't stop thinking about what JJ told him. JJ stood next to him giving him small pats on his back hoping it would comfort him as he went into deep thought.
