Chapter 14: Ghost Gone

Arabella POV

Natalie shut the door behind her and looked me dead in the eyes, "You see her, Don't you?"

"Yes." I said.

"I knew I wasn't crazy." Natalie shook her head.

"She's sitting over there by the bed." Natalie turned and walked towrds her bed. I followed her after she sat down.

"I-I feel her with me all the time. Just like when she was alive. I feel her engery, her moods. Just like they were my own. Sometimes, I swear I know exactly what she is thinking. She's mad, Isn't she?" Natalie finished and I looked at Zoe, which Natalie told me her name, then back at Natalie. "Because of that night, my family has a cabin by Lake St. George. We all snuck out there."

"All?" Sam spoke and jotled me for a moment. I forgot he came in here with me. Yeah, he's super tall, but can also be very quiet.

"Yeah, me, Zoe, my boyfriend, Tom." Natalie finished.

"Tom is a total douche bag." Zoe comented.

"I got a bad sunburn so I went to sleep early. I guess Zoe got bored without me and stayed up drinking and then she went swimming." Natalie burried her face in her hands and I turned to Zoe.

"I tried to swim out to the rocks in the middle of the lake. Like when we were kids." Zoe spoke and mved her attention to Natalie.

I looked at Sam who gave me a calm glance and I turned back to listen to Natalie. "We used to swim out the the big rocks when we were kids. It was so tough, we could never do it." Natalie began to cry softly and I sat in front of her on the bed.

"What happened Zoe?" I turned my head to her.

"I didn't make it to the rocks-" Zoe stated bluntly.

"I-I knew she was dead. It was like I drowned with her." She cleared her eyes and looked up at me.

"You know, the best thing here would be if Zoe crossed over." I stated slowly not trying to spoke either of them.

"Y-you mean like leave forever?"

"She doesn't belong here anymore."

"No, I need her. She can't." Natalie began to get worked up and I was beginning to get emotional. Natalie explained to Sam and I about her divorced parents and how ever Tom, her boyfriend, hasn't been around. Once she finished talking, Sam and I finally took off and back to the motel. Once we go back, we grabbed a quick bite and headed to see the boy friend. Aftermuch debate from both Sam and I, we convinced Tom to visit Natalie tomorrow. We went back to the motel, Sam ordered some pizza for us and he flipped through the TV channels as we hung low till we had to meet Tom tomorrow. Sam got a call from Dean once he hade it to Lake Manitoc. We told him our situation and to tell us everything he knows when we get to Lake Manitoc.

The next day, Sam and I met tom at Green Grove and got ready for Natalie's and his meeting. Well, it definalty didn't go as planned. No thanks to Zoe. Natalie got all worked up at Tom and it wasn't needed. I was really hoping this was going to be an easy cross over, but, yet again, I was wrong. Sam and I went back the Motel and Sam called Dean to help with the case. I turned on the tv and started to watch whatever was on until my phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Hi, Is this Arabella Milton?"

"Yes. May I ask who this is?" I sat up off the bed and swung my legs around.

"This is Green Grove Hospital. I'm Natalie's doctor. I want to infrom you that Natalie had escaped and we were wondering is she has contacted you or Mr. Winchester?"

"No, but I will defentily call if I see her." I hung up the phone and immediately saw Zoe in front of me. "Zoe, where is she?"

"You gotta hurry. She's at our cabin." Zoe said frantically. I told Sam as Zoe flashed away and he drove as fast as he could to Natalie. On the way, I called there parents to let them know where Natalie was.

Once we got to the lake, Sam and I ran out to the docks. "There, I see her." Sam was starting to take off some of this clothes to go in after her.

"No, don't. She can do this." Zoe said behind me.

"Sam, wait. Zoe said she can do this herself. Let her do this." I grabbed Sam's shoulder. He looked at me like I was crazy but complied. Natalie's parents arrived just in time to see her reach the rocks.

"She made it. She made it for us." I heard zoe say behind me. Natalie swam back to shore and Sam and her father helped her out of the water. Her father gave her his jacket to warm her up.

"Are you okay?" Dave, Zoe's and Natalie's father, asked Natalie.

"Y-yeah Dad. That's what I've been trying to tell you."

"That was amazing." Zoe spoke was awe.

"Zoe wants you to know you did great." I said looking at Natalie.

"She's here?" Both Natalie and Dave said in unison. I explained to Dave about Zoe and he was skeptical but understood once I made him believe.

Both Dave and Natalie professed their love for Zoe and let her know how sorry they were. I had tears in my eyes from what they were saying and it was nice to have Sam with me the whole time.

"Is that light out there for me?" Zoe asked looking at the Lake.

"You're the only one that can see into it." I gave her a small smile. Zoe smiled at me before walking into the light and fading away. "She's gone." I gave a weak smile towards Natalie and Dave who were releieved that she was at peace. Sam hugged me close and helped me back into the car. We grabbed our stuff from the motel and decided to start driving over night to get to Lake Manitoc in the morning.

"Bella," Sam said. "Yeah?" I asked turned my sleepy eyes towards him. "You are amazing, you know that? How you helped that family...That was so cool."

I gave him a small smile. "Th*Yawn*anks Sam. You help people too." I saw beginning to close my eyes.

"Not like you do. Well, get some sleep. I'll wake you when we get there." Sam smiled and rustled my hair. I hit his hand and snuggled up under Sam's jacket as I was consummed by sleep as I laid my head on his shoulder.
