My leafy friend is green and brown,
And is four feet in circumfrence,
all the way around.
My leafy friend is very tall,
But she never says much at all.
My leafy friend is my shade from the sun,
And climbing her,
is so much fun.
She lets me wet her bark,
when I am feeling sad,
She is my best friend,
when am feeling glad.
She is my favorite book buddy,
and she laughs when I'm feeling nutty.
The gentle wave of her branches,
helps me fall asleep,
but when I move away,
her I cannot keep.
I love my leafy friend,
to the ends of the earth and back again,
but no matter where I go,
in my heart she'll always be,
for we share a bond,
my leafy friend and me.
