"May I have this dance Miss Finch?"

The group of five sat in the grass for a long while, talking about everything and anything. Eddie had taken his time to explain to Adeline that he and the others were often the victims of Henry's cruel games. He also explained that from there on out, he would never let Henry even lay a finger on her skin.

Addie had told everyone what had happened and how she had gotten caught up with the infamous Bowers gang. Eddie had asked her about moving in with the Melville's and Addie was not sure what to tell him. She didn't want to lie, he and his friends had just saved her life after all, so she responded with a simple "it's complicated." The boys looked a bit confused but decided not to push the subject.

Bill had taken a seat next to her after Eddie had excused himself to take one of his many pills. He was a light hearted boy with brown hair and big green eyes. There were many times while he was stalking that he would get embarrassed by all of his stuttering. Addie would just smile and wait for him to continue.

He had explained to her that his little brother, Georgie, had gone missing awhile ago and that he and the others were going to go down by the sewers tomorrow and look for him. He told Addie that she was welcome to come too if she wanted to and she happily agreed to follow along.

Richie and leaned over in the grass and put his head in her lap. He had looked up into her eyes and told Bill he was seeing an angle. Addie laughed and pushed his head off, his curls bouncing along with him. He had freckles like Eddie, and thick, coke bottle glasses that magnified his brown, puppy like eyes. Addie would be lying if she said she didn't find him the least bit attractive.

He kept pulling jokes to try and get the girl to laugh, she had a couple of times. She was quite thankful to have Richie Tozier in her life right about now, she needed a good laugh after all she had been though.

Last, and most certainly not least was Stan the man himself. He was quite different from the others, he was quieter and liked to keep to himself. His hair sat in Golden ringlets atop his head and his brown eyes were glowing in the sun like honey. Addie had approached him after a while, wanting to meet the last member of the losers club, as Bill had called it.

As she approached, Stan looked up at her and away from a tree across from him. He smiled at her and a small dimple appeared on his cheek. Addie took a seat next to him and looked into his eyes.

"Thank you." The words came from her mouth in a weak tone. He looked at her a bit confused so she elaborated. "You know, for the whole algebra book thing." She made gestures like she was hitting someone over the head and Stan let out a chuckle.

"Don't thank me, it was Eddie's idea to go after you," he spoke so nonchalantly, like he hadn't even thought it was that big of a deal. Addie knew it was anything but, she could have died, that they all could have. She had just gotten into an okay place in her life and that was almost ruined, she wasn't ready to be ruined again, the wound was already so fresh.
