Manga Club Romance

Chapter 3: Korean

Sung Chan's POV

Hello! I am Lee Sung Chan and I transferred here 1 month ago but decided to go to school a month after to prepare myself. I learned Japanese 2 years ago to prepare myself to living here. I work at a local Manga Shop near my school. Today is my first day and I expect it to be great!


I wake up with the birds chirping, the peaceful wind blowing the trees, and then a second after, the realization that I'm late. 

"Oh no, I'm late!" I say in shock. 

I hurried in the bath and washed my face, changed into my new school uniform, ate bread, and then went to the station. As I ran to the tracks, the door was about to close so I ran for the inside and then I went in but then my speed was too fast I accidentally bumped into someone inside the train. 

"I'm sorry! I'm very sorry!" I say embarrassed. 

"It's okay~!" A guy who looks familiar said with happiness. 

"Hey, you look familiar" He said. 

"Also you! I feel like I've seen you before." 

"Oh ya! You're that girl who works at the Manga Store near our school! To think that we're from the same school." 

"We are?" 

"Yah, that's the girls' uniform in our school. How come I haven't seen you before?" He asks. 

"It's my first day today." 

"Oh! If you like, I could give you a tour!"

 "I would like that!" I say.

Akihito's POV
Me and Sung Chan talked about each other in the train ride until we arrived at our station. I learned that we were in the same class. We headed to our school and to the lockers. I asked her if she wanted to go with me to the classroom but she told her she had to go to the teachers' room first. I agreed and said my goodbye. 

"Who was that? Wasn't she the girl from the manga store?" Nakamura-san asks. 

I explain everything to her and then she said that it was clear to her. We both headed to our classroom and then I talked with my seatmate while Nakamura-san read a manga. After a few minutes, the bell rang and then our homeroom teacher came in with Sung Chan. The class was amazed by her looks. She introduced herself and then she ended up at the empty seat beside Nakamura-san. Nakamura-san was told to share her text book with Sung Chan so she agreed. It was lunch then Sung Chan was surrounded by people. She tried to answer all their questions but she gave up by leaving and heading to me. 

"Why him?" the croud whispered to each other. 

"Hey, what club are you in Tanaka-san?" she asked me. 

I said that I was in the manga club and she was shocked that there was a manga club. 

"Can I join the club?" she asked. 

Nakamura-san overheard our conversation so she said that she could. 

"I do read Manhwa but then I'm interested in manga too." 

She said. 3 of us went to the club room with her and then Yukki-senpai came with the Student Council President. 

"P-p-president?!?!" me and Nakamura-san say in shock while Sung Chan is clueless, 

"Who's that?" she asks. 

"Isn't it a bit disrespectful you don't know me?" he says with his charming tone. 

"I'm sorry, today's my first day so I don't know a lot of people." she explains. 

"Oh. Anyways, I'm here because... Uhhh" the president says. 

"He's here to join the club." Yukki-senpai says. 

"Eh? EHHHHHHHH???" Me and Nakamura-san screams in shock.
