Sakura's POV.

"Kakashi Sensei..how long is it to the Land of Waves?" Naruto asked.

"Not far about a three day walk...two and a half if we run."

"Say what!?"

"Oh and a six hour hike up to the castle"

"..Ugh.."

"Stop compaining , let's get there so we can hurry and kick their asses and complete this mission!" Sasuke said

"Now now let's not be hasty Sasuke, we should treat this mission like any other, it could coast this royal family their lives, you should know this most of all" Kakashi Sensei said

"Hmph!"

We continued to run until nightfall, we sat up camp for the night so far so good on the mission no bandits have come up even though we're still in the Land of Fire.

"All right guy's get some rest we need to be on a ship to the Land of Waves tomorrow " Kakashi Sensei said.

"If we have to get there tomorrow shouldn't we just keep going?" Sasuke asked

"No Sasuke we shouldn't."

"But if we are to miss our ship we will have to wait another day to get the next just because we stopped to rest!" Sasuke argued as he jumped on his feet getting in Kakashi Sensei's face he would be if he wasn't so much shorter then him.

"Sasuke don't fight with me I am your Sensei you will obey me!!" Kakashi Sensei yelled

"But your making a stupid decision, we should keep going!"

"Hey guy's why don't we look at this in a more calm manner heh heh heh?" I laughed nervously.

"HEY!! Sasuke!!" Naruto yelled "Stop fighting with Kakashi Sensei he's our leader, our teacher you should obey him he's our friend don't you understand why we call him Sensei!! he knows whats best!"

"Stay out of it Naruto!!"

"Arrgh!!" Naruto growled

"Stop butting in, I wasn't talking to you Naruto!"

"Guys?" I said

"It's not butting in when your argueing about a mission....OUR mission!"

"Like I said I wasn't talking to you!" Sasuke yelled

"Urgh sorry sasuke!" Naruto said

'huh?' I thought before Naruto pulled his arm back and punched Sasuke knocking him off his feet blowing him up against a tree, he slide down it landing on his butt, he looked up at Naruto with red eye's, he has activated his Sharingan.

He jumped back on his feet "Uh Sasuke?" Naruto said nervous

'You did it this time Naruto' I thought

Kakashi Sensei grabbed Sasuke's arm and dragged him off, "Argh let me go!" Sasuke yelled in the darkness.

Kakashi's POV.

"Argh let me go!"

"I'm sorry Sasuke but your attitude as of late has gone outta control, that curse mark on your neck will break if you don't calm down!" He looked up at me with pure rage in his eye's as he deactivated his Sharingan.

He yanked his arm free and brushed his pants off with his back turned to me, he slightly looked over his shoulder at me and made a confused face that's when I realized I was starring at his......

I grabbed his arm and swung him around to look at his face, but he refused to make eye contact with me, I grabbed his chin he tried to pull away forceing my grip harder, but he finally calmed down and diverted his eye's off to the left.

"I just wanna look..." I say trying to ferther calm him. It worked "Oh that Naruto....alway's sticking his head into everything that isn't his buisness.....sorry" I said.

I released his face and touched the bleeding mark on his cheek "Next time don't argue with me and you won't get hit," I said

"I-I...." He stuttered, I let go of his arm, and he slowly backed up until he was five feet away, then he turned and ran off.

"Hmmm......strange,"

Naruto's POV.

Me and Sakura sat at our camp site around a fire we finally got lite "I can't believe you hit him, it wasn't your fight and you know better then to pick a fight with Sasuke, you better be happy that Kakashi Sensei butt in or you would be dead meat!" She's been going at this every since they left.

"I'm sorry Sakura it just seems like something wrong with Sasuke if you haven't noticed," She sat there silenced for a moment.

"Do you really think so?"

"Uhh...no," Just as I said that Sasuke jumped over our beds out of no where running past us and deep into the dark woods.

Sakura and I looked at each other I smiled "M-maybe he's had something on his mind lately?" Kakshi Sensei walked up "Hey guy's where's Sasuke?"

"He took off that way?" Sakura said pointing behind us "Is he okay Sensei?"

"I don't know Sakura, it's probably best to let him come back on his own," I looked down at the fire hopeing that he will come back In one piece I could tell Sakura was thinking the same thing.
