Stop!

Despite the circumstances we both manage to laugh. This situation is so ridiculous. She stops laughing and looks me dead in the eye.
"I own you my life."
"What?"
"You saved me. I own you my life."
"No Lauren it's fine. You're the one who came up with the idea of escaping." She turned serious so quickly. She's scaring me.
"Okay" she says smiling. What's the matter with her? She keeps changing mood.
She shivers as she is in her underwear. I don't have a coat so I give her my shirt. She takes it.
"Where are we?" She asks me with hopeful eyes.
"I don't know." I sigh. "Wait! Yes I do! This is where Lizzie got... kidnapped. This is the back of the building. I know how to get back but we have to be careful Oli doesn't catch us." I start walking aroung the huge building. It looks like an abandoned hospital.
"Joel... Are you sure that he is Oli. I know he looks like him... Oli just wouldn't do this. I refuse to believe it."
"Lauren..." i sigh "I have no idea. Lets just forget about him and move on."
"Forget about me?!" A voice calls from behind us. "I hardly doubt you can do that." He says with a grin. I recognise him. Its Oli again. "Great job with escaping! Shame it didn't last." What a sadistic human being. What happened to our friendly Oli-bear. He suddenly leaps forward and grabs Lauren by the waist. She kicks him in vain but it doesn't seem to hurt him. He holds her by the waist in one hand and grabs a knife out of his pocket with the other one. He puts the knife at her throat.
"Move and she's dead. " he says grinning to me.
I stop dead in my tracks and look at him. How do I get out of this situation? I can't.
"Good. You want your friend to live. Now follow me. " he turns around.
"Stop! Police! Turn around." They were talking to Oli but I turn around too. A group of policemen with dogs are standing there, guns in their hands, ready to shoot at Oli. But behind them is Lizzie. Looking absolutly terrified. Hiding behind a policeman. I turn around again to look at Oli. He drops Lauren and she falls to the ground, panting. He then goes towards the policemen with his hands in the air. They put handcuffs on him and shove him in the backseat of their car. A policeman approches me and Lauren and asks us to follow them. I carry Lauren as she is so scared she cannot even get up. Lizzie rushes over to me.
"Joel." she says tearing up." Joel I was so scared."
"Lizzie I am here now. " i put Lauren in the backseat of the second car and give Lizzie and big hug. She cries in my shoulder.
"Lizzie everything is alright now. He's going to prison. We won't have to worry about him anymore." She looks at me and nods.
