Thea stood in her horse form on the top of a surprisingly green hill, with flowers. She saw another white figure in the distance and set off galloping at once, her heavy feathered hooves pounding the earth, the figure was closer than she thought and she arrived to it within seconds, the figure was a fox, a white one. She felt an odd connection to the fox and nickered at it, the fox cocked its head and walked closer, close enough to sniff Thea's white head. She saw that the fox had blue eyes, almost violet, and piercing but not intimidating. And then it occurred to Thea, I know those eyes... the eyes of my sister! Thea whinnied happily at the fox and she sprang up in joy as well. But then the fox vanished as well and the sky above her went dark, then red,Thea heard the roar of a lion, then a cage of bones with flesh still hanging off of them in ragged tassels appeared around Thea...

Thea sat up abruptly and looked around the room, she was still in her dress but her coat and sword hung behind the door, she silently got out of the bed and pulled on her boots, slipped on her coat and strapped on her sword. She glanced over at Eric, sleeping on the bed across the room, he looked different asleep, but she couldn't describe it, Thea pulled up her hood, silently opened the window and climbed out felling the cold air on her face, she reclosed the window and set off to the high walls that surrounded Theedle. She reached the first one and drew her sword, the wall was about 7 feet high and she was 5.9, this is easy she thought to herself as she backed up to get a running start on the wall, she was 3 feet away when she ran towards it and jumped, imbedding her sword in the wall about 5.5 feet up, perfect she thought and swung herself up with one hand still gripping her sword and the other on the edge of the wall, she returned her sword to her back and put her other hand on the edge of the wall and pulled herself up so she was sitting on the wall, she jumped down landing in a crouch and stood up, she took a deep breath and Changed. She was now a horse, the cold wind whipping her mane and tail, she galloped away from Theedle and felt free, it had been a long time since she had last Changed and it felt good. She didn't know where she was going and didn't really care, she blended with she snow and came up on a hill, much like the one in her dream but it was snow covered. Thea neighed and heard her voice echo in the vast emptiness around her, if someone was out there they didn't answer so Thea turned west and trotted off. In a little while she came upon a forest and walked in, her large eyes scanning ahead as her ears listened carefully for any sound, Theedle was 10 miles from her old house and 50 miles away from the castle so she wasn't afraid of horse snatchers, she was just cautious that's all. Then Thea smelled something, people, and froze, her breath coming in silent puffs in the cold, their smell was coming closer, and closer. Thea tensed and was prepared to Change back for a fight, then someone jumped out from behind a tree and lunged at Thea, unfazed she Changed back drawing her sword and stabbing the man in the gut, he fell to the ground with a soft thud as his blood stained the snow underneath him,

"Who's next?" Thea asked with a snarl and three more men appeared from behind trees. Whoever they are they're obviously stupid she thought to herself, flicking her sword in her wrist out of habit. The firs man advanced on her but Thea was ready, he drew a sword and swung at her throat, she bent back easily as the blade swished above her face, Thea twisted around and slashed his chest, he staggered back but the blow wasn't fatal so she jumped I the air and stabbed the man in his chest, killing him instantly, blood flowing out of the wound and onto his clothes then dripping onto the white snow. The other two men came at her simultaneously one on ether side of her, they both had broadswords, she took the first one kicking him in the gut then slashing at his neck, he fell like his other two friends as the last one spoke in a deep growly tone

"Hmph.. Boss didn't say you would be this hard" Thea whirled around and ran at the man, he obviously wasn't ready because it was surprisingly easy to cut his weapon arm off, it fell to the ground blood spilling fast out of it and the man's shoulder, he fell to his knees with a scream, Thea held her blade to his throat,

"Who is your boss?" She asked her voice a coiled ball of hate, but the man just laughed, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth

'Who is HE?" Thea yelled at the man pushing her blade harder against his throat a drop of blood splashing to the snow,

"Fendrel" he spat at her, blood now flowing from his mouth, in a fit of anger she drove the blade into his throat and he died with his sick smirk plastered on his face. Thea stepped back Well no surprise there, they were probably trying to capture you she thought.

"YOU'LL HAVE TO TRY HARDER THAN THAT FATHER" she yelled up at the sky, letting the last word sum up all of her hate and threats for him, for no apparent reason, Thea looked around at the four men she just killed, it was so easy, like breathing, that thought both scared her and made her happy at the same time. she wiped her blade in the snow then on her coat and put it away then Changing and galloping back to Theedle climbing over the fence and running back to the inn, it was a little past midnight and she was tired. She silently opened the window climbed in , closed it, removed her coat, sword and boots then climbing back into her little bed, Eric still fast asleep across the room. She had a hard time finding sleep but when it finally accepted her it was uneasy and restless.
