Tarrin's POV

After finally getting settled in with Reece things kind of started looking up. Other than the fact that my mother was pissed about me leaving and was doing everything to the best of her abilities to get me back. She promised she'd make a change in how she treats me but

I didn't believe her one bit. I knew that I needed to do what I need to do, and forget about my mother and her ways. She wasn't worth my tears anymore.

I decided to go to the mall and get some decorations for my new room while Reece was at work. I thought it would be a good surprise and if he wasn't too tired when he got home, he could help me decorate.

With my headphones in, I was having my own miniture jam session while walking to the mall. I would have drove but I wanted fresh air, since it was starting to get hot outside, and summer was finally approaching. My outfit for the day was cute, atleast I thought so. It was a cute blue tank top that kind of flowed out and a pair of short jean shorts, with my Spiderman vans of course. I was kind of a big Spiderman fan. Reece always gave me a hard time for that. He was more of a Captain America fan. Not sure why though, Spiderman is obviously the better choice of the two. Almost to the mall parking lot, I smiled as I mouthed the words and kind of danced to the song Don't Stop by 5 Seconds Of Summer. Once I got up to the parking lot, nearing the doors, I took out my headphones. I wrapped them up and put them in my pocket along with my phone.

From a near distance I hear sobs. It didn't sound like a girl either. I look around and spot the source of the sobbing. It seemed to be a boy who looked around my age.He was sitting on the curb with puffy eyes. I decided to walk over, and see if everything was okay.

I sighed. "I'm sorry to bother you, but are you alright?"

The boy looked up at me and nodded. I sat down next to him.

"Are you sure?" I looked down. "You seemed to be upset. I know you don't know me and I'm just some random person but I'm good at listening. I just don't like seeing people sad."

"I just have a lot going on right now.." The boy said.

"You're welcome to talk to me about it. I'm not the type to judge or anything. Do you maybe want to go into the mall with me, we can talk and get to know eachother more. " I asked with a small smile to try and brighten up the mood.

His eyes kind of lit up. "I'd like that, honestly."

I smiled and stood up, extending a hand to help him up. "Me too"

"I'm Cameron by the way. Cameron Dallas." He added, standing up with my help.

Standing next to him, I chuckled. "I'm Tarrin Fraley.  Can I call you Cam?"

He nodded as we wandered up to the door. We made our way in and the smell of mall food was strong.

"It smells so good in here" I said, embracing the smells.

Cameron agreed, still puffy eyed.

I looked over to him. "Are you sure you're okay??" I felt bad not being able to help much.

I patted him on the back, kind of waiting for a reply but I would understand if he didn't.

"I kind of got rejected by this girl I really liked." He said.
