7:00 AM-In my dorm
Hey! This is Margaret Flusch!This is the diary given to me by Miss Harriet and Miss Caroline ...They say that
I should write my daily diary....I don't know how it feels to make the diary your friend when you
already have a friend like Cookie...Oopss! sorry diary , u don't really know Cookie right? Well , Cookie
is a very close friend of mine -well, she is not really "COOKIE"...Her real name is Christy Kakusak... Umm
too many Ks, right? But , Cookie is satisfied with her name however its the last name she doesnt
seem fine with...BUT, The most exciting part is that we both are best friends so we have many things
in common like we both are not satisfied with our names , we both are orphans ,we both have same
favorites and we both share the same room... So you get the idea, how special friends we are, right? Actually she is the only person
who is very close to me You know I live in the GOODMAYES ORPHANAGE FOR GIRLS.I presume
now you got it-didn't still? Well dear, I guess I'll have to tell it to u myself I AM AN ORPHAN
I don't think much about my parents more than I do about their choice... like, I really mean it.. think
about giving ur child a name like Margaret Flusch of which everybody makes fun ...Couldn't it be
more elegant like Lucy Vaughn or Christiana Barry or something like that... I mean u get the idea...
Well, no problem.. I'll try to cope up with it... After all it is the only thing I own is of my
parents...Well ,it's seven o clock in the morning and Cookie is dozing off like its the first night she is
sleeping after she came back from a war or battle fighting ten continuous days without resting...
hehehe...well I gotta go...Actually there is a big theatre show on Shakespeare's play "taming of the
shrew", and I am looking extra forward to the list...Our teacher took the rehearsals and she will be
putting the list today of the children who got selected.... I wish my name would be there too...
AND especially not Kate's....well its really a big day for me!!!!!!!
hope kate doesn't mess things up... I'm going to wake or rather shake Cookie from her sleep...
