Chapter One
"Morning sunshine!" I said as I ran up behind Mina.
She gasped then smiled. "Thanks for the scare!" Mina acted mad. I laughed as we walked into our high school.
"You were late today Eileen! I waited forever! Usually it's the other way around." Mina scolded me.
"Sowwie! My brother takes forever to get ready," I giggled, "but we got here in two minutes. Thank god for his mad driving skills."
My best friend just rolled her eyes and gave me an exasperated sigh. She hates him.
We walked past my brother and his "crew"; bunch of freaks if you ask me. I saw his friends check us out. EWWW! I threw them a deadly glare and started up the stairs with Mina following. "What happened?" Mina asked, noticing my disgusted face.
"Perverts." I muttered motioning towards them. She turned around and shot the boys' another glare.
"Why me? Ewww!" Mina started, "Wait! No, they were checking you out."
"Naw b! It was you. Who wouldn't check you out? Your freakin gorgeous." I winked at her. Mina just shook her head.
Mina's a couple inches shorter than me, with an hourglass figure boys drool over and girls, including me, envy. She may be Middle Eastern, but she's pale. Her hair is long, wavy and black; like silk. Her oval shaped face is accented by her perfect features and deep brown eyes. Mina always, I mean always, wears eyeliner and mascara. It's part of her style. The other part of her style is her outfits. Mina's fashion sense is amazing! From her shoes to her tops to her earrings; everything is perfect. Plus, she looks good wearing clothes. She doesn't have to wear revealing shirts or overly short shorts to look good, she always does.
"Oh hush up! You're beautiful!" I smiled at her. We arrived at our lockers and began opening them. I turned the lock several times, not remembering the actual combination, just the positions. I pulled the lock open and swung open the door. I grabbed my math books and shoved some random crap from my bag to my locker.
"Five minutes guys. Hurry up!" said a voice behind me. I turned around and automatically handed my books to the girl. My other best friend made a face and took my books.
Isis is relatively the same height as Mina, with a lean body and yellow-tan skin. She's Chinese and her eyes are brown framed by long lashes. She has the cutest freckles, which she hates for some reason. Her hair is naturally wavy, but usually straight, cut in choppy layers with side bangs. Her hair is black with golden streaks. Ice is the athletic one, and one of the smartest in the group. Although she's athletic, she's plenty girly. Isis's fashion sense is fabulous, with her clothes and unique nails. She's obsessed with Korean music, meaning I am forced to listen to it. Not that I mind, I love the Wondergirls.
I locked my locker and began opening the locker beside mine. "She's gonna be late again." Isis sighed looking at the clock.
"Nothing new." Mina grinned. I grabbed our other best friend's math books.
As we walked away from our lockers, I pulled out my IPhone. My phone is my life! I think I'd die without it.
As we walked to math, I texted Selene.
Me- Yo! Where you at? ;)
Selene- UGH! Coming! My sisters :@ ARRGGH! Hate them! Always make me late for
everything!
Me- Awwh! Chill bb! We got your books, come straight to class.
Selene- Kaay :) Almost here! Thanks!
