After the Hitler thing we wanted to visit Jody. She is one of our best friends. We haven't seen her in a while. Dean knocked on her door. We waited few moments then the door opened.

- Wow, you look terrible. What's wrong? - she tells us.

- Sure, we'd love to come in. - Dean says giving Jody and hug and entering the house.

-Hey. - Sam says kissing Jody's cheek and following Dean - Yeah, we just finished a hunt in Brookings.  -

- And you couldn't take a shower first?  -

- Heh.  - Dean sighs.

- Ha ha. We figured we'd stop by on the way home and see you, Claire, and Alex.  - I say hugging Jody and following my brothers.

- Aw, that's fun. Unfortunately the girls are in Omaha for the weekend being angsty at a Radiohead concert. But I can feed you.  -

- Ooh -

- Yes. Alright. Oh, uh... Since the last time we saw you? I killed Hitler.  - Dean says.

- Oh - Sam rolls his eyes and walks off. Dean looks very pleased with himself.

Jody looked confused - Thank you? -

- You're welcome. -

I laugh and follow Sammy. We sat on the couch. There was a romantic scene of a couple silhouetted against a sunset while sweeping music plays on Jody's TV. The couple kisses.

Dean starts to talk with his mouth full of pizza- Jody, you watching some kind of chick flick here? -

-Well, Dean. I'm a chick. -

- No. No, no. You're... you're a badass sheriff chick. You're not a-a rom com chick. Wait, are you a rom com chick? -

- Are you? -

- He's more of a, uh... animated Japanese erotica chick. - I say.

- Really? - Jody leans forward in interest.

Dean glares at me and looks uncomfortable.

- Mm-hmm. - Sam adds.

Jody's phone rings in the other room and she stands up to answer it. - I need to leave this scintillating conversation.  -

Sam and I chuckle. Dean was upset with Sam and me - Don't tell her that. -

- Tell her what? - Sam asks.

- It's Jody, man. - Dean says still uncomfortable.

- Dude, be proud of your hobbies. It makes you who you are. - I say and Sam and I laugh.

Jody walks back through the room, clearly upset. - Jody? - I call but she doesn't stop walking.

The three of us follow to her bedroom, where she's packing some clothes.

- Jody, what's up? - Dean asks.

- A friend of mine died. -  she answers and her voice is breaking.

- Who? - I ask.

- Asa Fox. -

Sam sighs deeply.

- Asa Fox. Why does that name sound familiar? - Dean looks at Sam.

- Isn't he the guy that Ellen used to tell stories about back at the Roadhouse? - he tells him.

- Yeah. Supposedly he killed, like, five wendigos in a night. -

- Yeah. Yeah, he was a hunter. He, uh. He rolled into town a few months back, tr... tried to convince me he was FBI Agent Fox Mulder. He was chasing a pack of ghouls and I helped. He'd pass through every once in a while after that, and we'd grab co... coffee or... something. -
she starts to whisper -Oh, he was a good man. - her voice breaks -The... the wake's tonight, and, um. They're gonna salt and burn the body tomorrow. I can't believe I just said that like it's something normal. -
