it was a cold starry night on november 6th, 1983 in riverdale, newyork.

it was.. peaceful. the crickets where chirping, bugs where flying around. it was normal.

until.. the incident happened.

a scientist runs out the doors inside of the government secret lab, racing through the building hallways.

the alarms where blaring terribly loud, lights where flickering, loud thudding around the building.

the scientist eagerly clicked the elevator button a few times, destined to get away from that.. ..thing.

he looked back anxiously to see nothing.

he clicked the elevator button again.

he looked back again to hear another thud, but closer.

the almost bald scientist rapidly clicked the elevator button and it finally opened.

he raced in the rapidly clicked the button for it to close.

he panted heavily while looking into the hallways of the lab, lights still flickering and the alarm still going off.

"jesus please just let this close and help me survive.." he breathed out.

the scientist heard low growling from above him.

he looked above slowly to see the thing.

in the blink of an eye, the thing had grabbed the scientist, earning a blood wrenching scream as the elevator closed.

timeskip to the jefferson's house.

there they where.. just a group of boys in the basement chilling, playing D&D.

"something is coming. something hungry for blood. a shadow grows on the walls behind you, swallowing you in darkness. IT.. is almost here." thomas said mysteriously.

"what is it?" john asks.

"what if its the demogorgon? oh, jesus, we're so screwed if its the demogorgon." hercules added, earning a groan from john.

lafayette rolled his eyes at how dramatic herc was being."it's not ze demogorgon, herc."

"an army of troglodytes charge into the chamber!" thomas exclaims, placing a troglodite figure onto the table.

"troglodytes?" herc smiled.

"i.. how you say.. oh! i told ya so!" laf chuckled, earning a snort from herc.

thomas suddenly got silent. "wait a minute.." he said softly.

"did you hear that? that... that sound? boom.. boom.. BOOM!" he yelled and slamed the table.

"that didn't come from the troglodytes. no, that.. that came from something else."

everyone in the group looked at thomas with a nervous expression.
