Saluda, North Carolina. It wasn't ideal, but I know I need to change for the better. Saluda was a quaint town I visted on a school trip, its like you're stepping back in time it beautiful if you must say. The towns population is rather small, of about 500 residents or so. The highschool was what you could say average: you had your bad boys, jocks, the It girls, the hippies, the nerds, and all that.

That is everywhere though, there isn't one school who doesn't have ranks. Its like a city, where ever city you go there are lots of buildings.

I owned a simple 1989 Ford Truck that I had bought with the money I had saved from street fighting. Yes, I was a street fighter, one of the best in Asheville, North Carolina. I decided that I needed to leave this life and get myself on track for a better future that was better than what I would have with street fighting. I had enough money to pay throughout college too.

I was driving to my older brothers house where I would spend the rest of junior and senior years in highschool. Jarrod asked me to live with him, saying if I truly wanted to change it would be best that I get away from Asheville. Asheville was only a hour and a half away, but still it is pretty far.

"Where is Cobler street" I internally groaned, I was horrible with street names.

I decided to pull over to a coffee shop and ask someone there, and maybe get some coffee, too. The coffee shop was a tiny but pretty, covered in Halloween decorations since next week was Halloween.

There was no line so I walked up "Do you know where Cobler Street is?"

A short chubby old lady came wlaking up to me "Its off Corn Wallis lane right off gold street, why you going there?"

"My brother invited me to live with him for the last of school" I spoke "Jarrod Brand is my brother actually"

"Oh Jarrod he was telling about his sister coming down" she said "And I'm Ms. Batty, you must be Dinanatha"

I nodded "Well I must go before he worries to much"

With that I left.

Following Ms. Batty's instructions, I made it to my brothers house in ten minutes. My brothers house was on ten acres of land, most of which was covered in trees. My brother was home, so no waiting, I ran in and yelled I'm home.

"Din'a!!! You're here, I'm ready to live with you. Also I want you to meet my fiance, Katie Hiths" with that a girl came down, she was honestly kinda hot. "And you're not allowed to crush on her, she is my girlfriend not yours"

"Gosh brother, I'm not gonna steal you girlfriend again. Not my fault the others thought I was hot" I snickered walking to his kitchen, I had been here once before coming to live with him

"Your First day of school here is Wednesday, everyone has Halloween and Monday off" my brothwr yelled

Kinda poopy chapter at 525 words, I hope and will write my chapters longer too. Um today's been boring and besides I'm pissed at my family😂😂
