Chapter 16 We Need To Make A Plan

(Cassie's Pov:)

"Sawyer, I am so sorry you had to see that." I said weakly crying.

"No. Don't say that. I'm the one who should be sorry. Not you. I should have tried to save you. I was like in a daze like everything was going in slow motion. I couldn't move. I felt like I was paralyzed. Listen. I promise that as soon as we get out of here, we are going to go home and not leave for a very long time. I promise that from now on, I will protect you with my life. I love you Cassie. No one else is going to hurt you. Ok. Now we need to make a plan to get out of here."

"Yeah. Ok"

"So I am going to try and untie myself. I noticed that the ties aren't very tight.......Ok. Got it. Now I am going to untie you. Ya know, for a kidnapper, jJason isn't very good at tying knots. But ya know. Makes it easier for me....... Ok. You are all untied completely. Now before we go, we have to strategize. I think that we are in a basement. So we need to find stairs that go up. But first we need to get some weapons..... I guess that we could break one of the chairs?"

"Yeah. We do need to defend our selves in case anyone is out there. Which there probably is."

*CRACK, CRACK*

"You ready?" Sawyer asked.

"Ready as ill ever be."

"Ok. Lets go. Shhhh."

We get out of the door and start to walk down a hallway. I see stairs going up. But they are really far away. All of a sudden, I hear, "HEY YOU! WHERE DO YOU THIBK YOU'RE GOING!"

"RUN!" I yelled. I ran. And ran. And ran. I looked over next to me and sawyer wasnt there anymore. "Cassie!" I heard him yell faintly. I heard him but I can't see him. All I see is this vast emptiness. "Cassie!" I hear again. Only this time skittle louder.... "Cassie!!" I heard one last time before i shot straight up out of bed. "Holy. Fuck." I said groggily. And shaking. Plastered in sweat. "That felt so real. What happened?"

"You were having a really bad dream. You were screaming and crying and kicking around. Shane tried to wake you up but he couldn't so he ran over and grabbed me. I have spent the last 15 minutes trying to wake you up. You must have been in a really deep sleep." Sawyer said. Looking relieved.

"Oh my god. I thought that was all real. It felt so real. So vivid. I don't know. Oh my god. Every thing was so clear. I can't even begin to explain." I said shocked. And still groggy. I am completely drenched in sweat. Ewww. Gross.

"Well." Sawyer said. "You look like you want to take a shower. You are drenched. So how about I go in to the bathroom and sit on the toilet while you take your shower and you tell me everything that happened while it is still fresh in your mind."

"Yeah. Ok." I said getting up. So I told him everything from waking up and finding Shane and Joey sleeping together to being raped, to trying to escape. He just sat there listening patiently. Probably processing everything too."

"Wow." He said. "I don't even know how to respond to that. I mean, I don't understand why that felt so real. And it took almost half an hour to wake you up. You must have been really sleeping."

"Yeah." I said. I am so shocked. I never sleep heavily. Must be I needed it."

"Well then, so I guess you probably don't want to go out for a while. I mean, you never know what could happen. I did want to take you out to a make-up date but we could just stay home?"

"Yeah. That's fine. But I want it to be just you and me. Ya know. Boyfriend, girlfriend time."

"Yeah. That's what I meant. Lest go over to my place though. My TV is bigger." He said.

I got out of the shower and got changed.

"Hey Shane I am gonna go over to Sawyers for the day and possibly spend the night. I am gonna send Joey over. Sawyer and I want some alone time." I said to him.

"Ok. That's fine. NO SEX!!"

"Hahaha. Yes sir!" I said and saluted him. Laughing. "DON'T EAT ALL OF THE FOOD!!!" I yelled walking out of the door.

"DAMNIT!!" Shane yelled back in response.

I laughed all the way to sawyers.
