Chapter 5

One year later and dad and I are moving back home, I hope I don't see you. I've met someone in the last five months her name is Rose.

She's perfect and the total opposite of you. She has blonde hair and blue eyes, she's getting over a break up and we've become close, best friends.

She's coming with dad and I to help her get over her break up, she's so sweet, Alley you'd love her. She knows all about you.

Though she isn't your biggest fan, she makes me a better person, she says we're besties for life an I laugh at how ridiculous it sounds but weren't we once that?

We're re finally back home.

Rose stays in our guest room and once we're settled in, I take Rose to the bowling alley to have drinks and fun.

She deserves it after what that asshole boyfriend did to her, after drinking two beers, Rose being a girl has to use the ladies room.

When she comes back she has a friend with her, I pay them no mind, chatting with an old friend.

That is until Rose says, "Thanks again, Alley." Do I look over.

And there you stand Alley, our eyes lock and I can't think straight, futher more breathe, god your breathtaking.

You look away first and nod to Rose then your gone.

You turn and run towards the ladies room, before I even know what i'm doing, i'm chasing after you.

Not this time Alley, I need an explanation.

I follow you into the ladies room, I  check the stalls, no one else is there, its only you and I. 

Your in the corner infront of the mirror swipping angryly at you eyes.

Your crying, I walk over and pull you to me, your sent floats up, you smell like my favourite apple pie with a dash of cinnamon.

I ask you whats wrong and you tell me that you didn't know I was back.

I agree but still that doesn't explain why your crying.

I'm tired of your games, I cage you against the wall and finally ask you what happened all those years ago, why did you give me up?

You start sobbing then, telling me about how you were never free of cancer, it only went away for a while then came back full force.

It happened a week after I left, you started feeling sick and your parents being them rushed you to the doctor, the cancer was back.

You tell me that you didn't want me to go through that again, knowing I could lose you once again, so you let me go. To find my happiness.

Now its me crying.

While knowing you could die, you were thinking of me. Your so selfless, Alley.

I pull you to me and hug you while kissing your tears away.

I finally tell you how I loved you then and you broke my heart, you say you loved me too and it broke your heart letting me go but you had to.

I hug you so tight, i'm sure you can't breathe but you don't say anything just hug me back as tightly as you can.

Until someone clears there throat behind us.

"So you're the Alley, I swear I hated you for breaking my Ryan's heart but now after hearing your side, I respect you." Rose says.

You go stiff in my arms, I want to know why but you slip out of my hold and leave me alone with Rose.

She comes up and hugs me but I want you.

I don't see you again until the next week when your parents and you come over to our house for dinner, you smile at me until you see Rose.

You ask to be excused half way through dinner and I follow you to my bedroom, you face me and ask me how long Rose and I have been together.

You look like you're about to cry, wait are you jealous my Alley cat? I like that.

I tell you about rose and how i've only ever loved you.

You say you've always loved me, you still do but you never wanted me to always be worried about you.

And I can't help it, I pick you up and I kiss you.

You then tell me that it was your first kiss, you want more, I laugh and kiss you awhile longer.

Then we hang out im my room and you tell me whats been going on in your life...

As the weeks pass we start back being like we use to, you even played match maker with Rose and your friend and Ezra they seem pretty happy.

A months later I ask you out for real as your boyfriend, you accept and we go on our very first date, our parents are beyond elated.

You even helped me mend my relationship with my dad, you hated us not talking to each other because of you. Now we're closer than ever.

Did I mention that I was right?

Our parents have been planning our wedding since the day, they first saw us together eight and a half years ago.....
