So as a Junior in high school dealing with both life and school is hard. People are always telling me that Junior year is the most important, the year collages pay attention to.One advice I have is do not wait till the last minute to do homework and projects.try setting up a schedule to go by. Although you want to set up a little free time for yourself or you might start to loose it. I don't mean that figuratively.
As you all may or may not know I suffer with depression now stress in school is one reason why. You also might know that I do a sport, that sport is the one thing that is keeping me sane. If you do a sport you also want to make sure that that is not affecting your school work. Most sports practice in the afternoon during the weeks those sports are most likely the ones who will effect your school work.
Then there are dances and after school events and you will want to do them they are a lot of fun but first make sure they won't mess up any of your plans.
My coach one said that to add something on your schedule you need to give up something so for example.
Importance scale 1
SCHOOL 8hr
PRACTICE 2hr
HOMEWORK 2hr
SLEEP 9hr
TV/MOVIES 3hrImportance scale 2. Improvised
SCHOOL 8hr
PRACTICE 3hr
HOMEWORK 2hr
SLEEP 6hr
TV/MOVIES 2hr
AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES 3hrThe simplest additions can be the biggest change.
So make sure you make time for everything that you need first then go on to what you want.
