Saturday morning, huh? I could really use something unhealthy. Maybe like candy. Yeah, candy sounds good.
I pulled myself out of bed and got dressed, leaving hastily. I made sure the door was locked before I left, I promise.
As I turned the first corner before the store, I almost ran into the same familiar face from before.

Max.

I didn't exactly wanna talk at the moment. My stomach was grumbling loudly, my brain craving sugar.
He turned to me, slightly frowning.

Why's he so pissy this morning?

"What are you doing out so early?" He says to me.

I stared at him a moment. I guess he was right, it was pretty early, almost nine.

"Well, I'd like to ask you the same question." I said, crossing my arms.

He shrugs. "Suppose you got me there." He sighs. "But seriously."

"Hm? Oh, I uh... really wanted something sugary, specifically, candy." I said, minor embarrassment flowing through me.

"You heading to the store?" He then asks.

"Yeah, why?"

"You don't mind if I tag along, right." He tilts his head.

"Nope, not at all, this is all just a tad bit... uh... well... awkward." I muttered.

"I don't see how... oh, because I'm like, kinda famous." He says.

I glance at him and nod. "Yeah."

As I began to walk on, I felt something tap against my nose. I flinched, realizing it was a tiny raindrop.

"Shoot, we should probably hurry, I don't wanna get caught in the rain storm right this second." I said to him, walking faster.

Max hurried after me as I headed into the store that had just happened to be so close by.
As we got in, I brought him over to the candy, eyeing all of it profusely.
I picked up a {Fav Candy}, then watched as Max slowly chose his.
He sure was picky.
I impatiently, stared out the stores window, anxiously watched the clouds darken.
I wasn't expecting it to rain today.
He grabbed a Kit-Kat bar off the shelf, approaching my side.
I entered the line, which didn't exist, placing down my candy and his on the counter.
Max gave me the money to pay for it, then I handed both of our combined money to the sad looking man behind the counter.
He returned the extra change and a receipt and gave us our food.
Both of us left, side by side.

"Thanks for accompanying me to the convenience store." Max chuckled, opening his Kit-Kat bar and taking a large, awkward bite.

"We barely talked. It was more of me waiting impatiently for you to pick something." I scoffed.

This caused him to laugh. "Sorry about that." He then paused outside of the store. "Which way are you going."

I pointed left, which made him smile.

"Well, surprise, surprise, me too." He chuckled.

"Sweet, I guess." I returned.

As we began to walk, rain began to calmly come down in small little drops. I pulled my hood over my head and looked over to Max.

"Nice weather we're having." He joked.

"Heh, yeah, the best."
