Chronicles of Death #7 Deployment

Chapter 1: Arrival

                                      "Sir we are now approaching the border with a fresh batch of reinforcements, both Japanese and Romanian sir." the driver said in Japanese. TK along with twenty new units was being deployed to border control in Japanese North Korea, the truck they were in had armor plating to prevent damage done by possible Korean terrorists. TK sitting in the front passenger seat saw the top of the wall as the truck came down the hill, then seeing military trucks and BTRs parked in a parking lot, after the parking lot was security buildings, and after the security buildings were the protesters and border guards. They came close to the border until they reached the entry point, then the driver instructed in Japanese to the JSDF units "Get out and get to your stations!" in slightly broken English he said to the Romanian ISAT units "Go to your station!" one of them repeated what he said in Romanian and they got out and ran to their stations. Just as TK got out the driver said "TK, go to the border checkpoint, look for Vein." in his best English. TK heard him and nodded, his rifle in hand, he walked to the border checkpoint as the driver drove his truck over to the parking lot. As he walked, he heard the shouting of Korean protesters as they shouted "Our Korea!" in their language. As he reached the checkpoint he saw an ISAT unit with white surgical gloves, tape on the back of his helmet with a red cross in the middle of the tape, and scratched on the side said "Venă" meaning vein in Romanian, with black armor and various slots on his armor that were holding needles. He didn't think finding him would be easy, he approached him and said "Vein, I was supposed to meet with you?" in Romanian, Vein responded reluctantly saying in Romanian too, "Ah yes! TK I presume?" TK nodded. Vein said "Alright follow me, we have a lot to discuss, you know these rioters have not been stopping since our take over! One recently tried to shoot one of our units, he played dead until another shot him to death." TK was surprised, people already wanted to protest against Japan. They walked into a room where lockers and a table were, the table seemed to have plans of something on them, and Vein stood next to the table and said "We need to be careful in this environment, we don't know who is who isn't a possible terrorist, I had to do surgery on the man who I just talked about, and check if he wasn't drugged." an ISAT unit walked in and said "Sir! Korean authorities are here!" TK questioned why they didn't come sooner, but the fact that they were here was comfortable in some way. Vein ordered "All right, let's meet them." upon walking out, loud gunshots were heard, TK's radio receiver received a scream from a Romanian unit, "KOREAN AUTHORITIES ARE SHOOTING AT US!"  which immediately Vein and TK ran out of the building to take action. Upon the scattered protesters, were Korean military and police shooting their firearms at both ISAT and JSDF units. TK prepared his rifle and shot the Korean retaliators. As the return of fire from ISAT and the JSDF were thrown at the Korean military, the civilian protestors had run off, dropping their signs.
