It Has Always Been You... (Jin Fanfiction BTS)

Chapter 1

Trina's P.O.V.

Early morning light settled in my room as my alarm went off at 7:30 am. It was the day my best friend Jin and I were leaving for BigHit Entertainment headquarters. Jin had recently auditioned to become an intern and been selected and put into a band with 6 others. After we received word that Jin had been accepted, I then spoke to his manager to work out some type of deal.  I had explained that I had assisting skills and could speak English (I am originally from America) they said they would allow me to accompany Jin and be BTS's secretary/assistant until further notice. 

I woke up almost instantly as I was so excited to go and flew out of bed to make myself presentable. I had planned to go over to Jin's and cook him breakfast and get him motivated to go because let's face it, he is one of the laziest little beans in the morning. I shook out my messy curls, slide a shirt over myself, and brushed my teeth before I walked the 2 blocks to his house to wake him up. 

I got my key to his house out of my shirt and leaned down to unlock his door, careful not to break the necklace it was hanging from. Careful not to wake him just yet I closed the door and locked it again.  I quickly and quietly ran into his kitchen where I was greeted by his mom. 

"Hello, Mrs. Kim! How was your morning?" I asked with a smile as I gave her a hug. 

"Oh, the usual. Just about to leave for work. I was hoping you would be here early so I could tell you goodbye before you both left. His father and I wished we could escort the both of you but with work, it is so difficult." She said with a sad smile. 

"Oh, it is quite alright! My parents are the exact same, I understand and I'm sure Jin does as well." I said trying to cheer her up.

"Oh yes, I am sure. But I have already told Jin goodbye but you know how he can be in the mornings. He lifted his head, kissed me back and then back to sleep he went. He was up all night worrying about the trip, but he is so excited." She said with a smile that showed she was very excited for her son as well. 

"I figured he would be. I am very excited myself." I said smiling back. 

"Well, I better get going. Make sure you two call me once you get there!" She said as looked at her watch and gave me a hug goodbye.

"Will do Mrs. Kim," I said as I accepted the hug and watched her walk out the door.

I smiled to myself as I started and happily finished breakfast around 8:15. I made one of Jin's favorites: Cinnamon pancakes with whipped cream and strawberries on the top and some freshly squeezed orange juice. I put the plates on the table before running up the stairs to wake up Jin hyung. 

"JIIINNNNN, wake up," I said as I burst through his door. He covered his head with his pillow and snuggled closer to his blankets. I took that as his way of saying he wasn't getting up so I did what I always do. I climbed on top of him and sat there.

"Jin, please wake up, it's a big day!!" I said as I got close to what should have been his face but was instead a pillow. H ripped the pillow off his head and dragged me under the covers with him. 

"Hush Trina, I am trying to sleep." He whispered as he offered to share his pillow.

"But Jin hyung.. we have to go to BigHit today," I said as I put my head on his pillow and wrapped myself in his huge blanket as well.

"Besides, I made you breakfast.." I said, whispering the last part. 

"Really?" He said as he peeked one of his eyes out to look at me.

"Yep, your favorite," I said with a smile. 

"This is why I gave you the key to my house." He says as he stretches before leaving me abandoned in his bed.  Laying in his bed I realized how cold it really was in his house, so before I went downstairs I raided his closet. 

I grabbed the biggest sweatshirt of his I could find and slipped it on. Luckily it wasn't hard to find something warm due to the fact that Jin was almost a whole 5-6 inches taller than I was. One I was happy with my selection, I ran down the stairs to eat some breakfast as well.

I hit the last step with a bang as I jumped to the floor and looked up to see Jin's face turning a rosy pink. 

"What are you getting all embarrassed about? I have been stealing your clothes for about 3 years now and you still get embarrassed." I giggled as I stuffed food into my mouth.

"I swear you're only friends with me so you can steal my clothes." He said with a small chuckle.

"Well, you're only friends with me for my cooking skills." I fired back with a smirk as I stuffed more food into my mouth.

"Yeah, you're probably right." He said as he started to laugh at me.

"Oh yeah? I see how it is. Go get a shower Kim, you stink." I said as I flung a strawberry at his head, missing and hitting the wall behind him, which made him laugh even harder.

He finished up his breakfast and sat his dishes in the sink before running down the hallway to take a shower.

"Jin, I am going to wash these dishes and then head back to my house. I still have to get ready." I yelled down the hallway at him.

"Alright, have fun putting on your face." He yelled back which made me giggle. I am so lucky to have such an amazing best friend.
