Marco POV
Me and star were sitting on the couch on our typical Thursday's Friendship Day. We were eating nachos when the light suddenly went out. Pitch black. My parents were upstairs and it was getting cooler.
"Marco? What happened?" Star says. She may be sitting right next to me but I can't see her it's so dark.
"Lights went out. Storm going on. I'll see if I can find the breaker box" I said getting off the couch.
"Ooooo what's a breaker box??" Star asked. I can already see the twinkle in her eye.
"It's a box that has all the controls to the lights." I grabbed a flash light and flicked it on. The instant brightness caused both of us the cringe and blink multiple times.
"I will be right back" I say to star and she clasps on my arm tighter. "Come on star.. you fight monsters all the time. A little bit of dark won't hurt you." I kiss her lightly on the forehead and she blushes madly.
She lets me pull away and I walk down the hall. I find the breaker box and try to open it.
"it won't open!" I yell to star.
"I'll use my wand!" She yells. She then comes quickly Down the hall.
"No no! Wait" but I was too late. She blasted the whole box to pieces.
"Well. Now we're stuck in the dark." I say.
"Soooorrryyyy" she sing songs. I smile wide and throw my arms round her.
"Let's eat nachos."
"Yaaaayy!" She throws her hands in the air and we walk to go get nachos.
