Him that nobody else can see

The one time I need him he's gone. I'm frozen and I'm just gonna make a fool out of myself unless he comes. "Are you serious  Ann just say the sentence." I knew you would come to save me.  I glance at him rembering not to look at him as if he was there. "After me Ann, He walked down the shores lined in blue and sparkling with shells as bright as gold." I gasp for air, He walked down the shores lined in blue and sparkling with shells as bright as gold, I repeated.  Mr. Harry's voice boomed through the quiet room " Very good AnnaLynn, Morgan read the next one."  I felt realved knowing I had done it and having Zane by my side looking out for me.  "That was a close call there Ann." He said looking over at me with a grin on his face.  I know I was just waiting for you I reply with a snarky tone.  "Oh getting snarky with me little missy?" Oh you bet I am. Five minutes till lunch. "What's happening at lunch?" Oh don't you know? "No Ann I  don't. Common don't be a tease, princess." Don't call me that. "Sorry what was that princess?" I said don't call me that, Carrot top. I give him a evil yet playful grin.  As he returns the favor the bell rings. "First one to the bench wins!" Zane shouts as he runs out the door. I grab my bag and run towards the door pushing my way through and speed walking towards the quad.  "Where are you going in such a hurry?" I turn to see Zane standing behind me.  He tries to grab me but I dodge his attack and run towards the bench.  He comes right up behind me, he sticks out his arms attempting to pull me back. So I jump for the bench only a few feet away pushing my way along in the air, falling to the ground I grab onto the edge of the bench and pull myself up to see Zane's face looking down at me.  "Wow that was over dramatic and in the time it took you to do all that I walked around you and took a seat." That's not fair I wine. "Yes it is I even waited for you." No you snuck up behind me and tried to kill me. "Me kill you never." So you admit it. "There's Melissa, I'll trail behind you guys." Okay I whisper making sure Melissa didn't hear me.  "Hey Ann, ready for lunch? Remember someone is joining us today?" Yes I do. "K let's get a move on then. They are in the cafeteria though. Will you be okay for a few minutes in there?" Yea, I'll hold my breath or something.  "Okay cool and sorry I know how bad your anxiety gets in there." It's okay I reasure her. Walking into the cafitera my heart beat gets louder, I look around for Zane but cant find him. "You okay?" Melissa asks me.  Yes Im fine just looking for them. She turns around not questioning my weirdness, she never does. "Hey princess." Zane pretends to put a crown on my head as he says it.  Why hello there I respond making him react with a shocked look. "So you like princess now?" He questions me.  No, I just like the crown. I turn around over dramticly to follow Melissa.  Wait where did she go I question myself looking around the crowded room.  Zane where is she? "Well if you told me what was so special about this lunch maybe I could help you? Also why are we in here you hate people?" It's a part of the surpize and I dont hate people I just dislike them with a passion.  "So you hate them?" K whatever, now where is she? "Shhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!" Zane shouts next to my ear. "Follow." I turn to follow him as he goes around all the tables.  I see Melissa talking to a group of people who all seem to be looking around. "They are looking for you Ann." What how do you know. "Because we were looking for them, duh." I give him a dirty look. Next thing I know my arm is being pulled by a unknown force almost knocking me onto the ground. "Ann, are you okay you were zoneing out again, you must have lost me." Yea I think so "Okay well this is Elijah, Sarah, Liam and Millie." Hi I say as I put my hand behind my head. They continue with their discussion about dogs and the card, now we can finally leave this awful cafeteria.  We walk out in a big group,  me in the back next to Zane.

Great I'm never gonna remeber their names. " Yes you will princess, and if you can't that means they won't rember yours."  I didn't tell them my name.  "Exactly so nothing to worry about. Why did we spend all lunch with them anyways?" So that way me and Melissa now have the card. "Are you serious you got a card from them? Who do you have to kill?" Nobody we just gotta do their homework. "So I gotta do their home work?" Yea pretty much. "Great." It is great now we can get whatever we want or need out of school with out the trouble, we could order food, art supplies, anything. " Art supplies really, you couldn't say something like Starbucks?" Nope but thats the beauty of it now we can order taco bell for lunch. "Okay cool, how did you guys even know they had a pass? And why give it to you?" They are failing most their classes and they had an extra.  "They had an extra?" Yea its a group of four lollies what did you expect? "Good point." Yea I know that's why I said it. " Okay whatever I'll  see you on the bus home okay Ann?" So I'm Ann again? "For now." He walks with me till we get to my last class, I never need him in this class.  I always feel safe in this class unlike all the others.  It's really the only time I'm not with Zane.  Wait he wasn't there in Mr.Harry's class today until I really needed him. Where the hell was he?
