"Ace, wake up we get to see our munchkin for the first time today." Logan happily shook Rory awake.

Rory began to stir. "Coffee." She held up both arms in  the air reaching for it.

Logan laughed at his girlfriend and gave her the cup of coffee he had brought with him.

She sat up straight in the bed and took a sip. "Hm. Are you sure Mitchum and Shira didn't adopt you 'cause you are a god my friend." She drank the rest of it in three big gulps.

"Pretty sure." Logan laughed. "Now we have got to shower and get going if we want to be on time for the appointment."

Once they had showered together they ate the food that Luke had left for them while him and Lorelai were on their honeymoon and got in the car to see their baby for the first time.

"Lorelai Gilmore." Rory said as she and Logan reached the front desk.

"Please fill these out." The receptionist said handing me a small stack of papers and a pen. "Empty your bladder. The doctor will come to get you shortly. Toilets are at the end of the hall." She smiled sweetly.

"Thank you."

While Rory went to the toilet, Logan filled in all of the paperwork so that when Rory returned all she had to do was sit and wait, and possibly calm down Logan because his nerves were running amok. Logan was so engulfed in his mind that he hadn't noticed Rory sitting down next to him.

She turned to him and placed one hand on his knee and the other on his fiddling hands. He broke out of his thoughts and looked at her. "You look nervous."

"Do I? Huh. I'm just worried what good of a father I'm going to be."

"What? Logan you are going to be an amazing daddy. Just look at what you already did, you've been here, four weeks and we already have a house that we can move into in a week, you've been by my side rubbing my back and holding up my hair when I have to make a dash into the bathroom and I wake up in the middle of the night sometimes, with your hand on my stomach and you talking in your sleep about how much you love me and little munchkin, that you are going to care for us like there's no tomorrow and you will be the best version of yourself. Even though I think you already are. Logan you are not Mitchum nor Christopher, you could never be, even if you tried." She smiled reassuringly and he kissed her.

"Lorelai Gilmore?"  They stood up and walked towards the doctor. "Hello, I'm Dr. Menck. Lorelai please change into this hospital gown. We are going with the trans-vaginal ultrasound as it's easier this early in pregnancies, we'll go with this throughout the first trimester."

"Please call me Rory and this is Logan, he's the father." Rory did as she was asked and changed into the thin hospital gown.

"This may be a little uncomfortable." Dr. Menck said as she brought in the wand. She looked at the screen intensely. She was trying to get a better view. "You are at twelve weeks. Due date is the fifteenth of July. Would you like to see them?"

"Yes please. But did you say them?" Logan answered. He was confused.

Turning the screen around to them Dr. Menck smiled."Congratulations. You are having twins."

Rory went silent in some state of shock. She stared at the screen, not believing that she was carrying two babies. Logan was shocked but thrilled, he kissed a still silent Rory on top of her head. The doctor turned on the speakers and the room filled with heartbeats. Rory and Logan were mesmerised by the sound of the hearts.

"Wow." Was all Rory could muster up to say.

"How many sonogram pictures would you like me to print for you?"

"10 if that's possible."

"You can pick them up at the front desk." She smiled.

After the doctor left the room, Rory got decent and they left the hospital picking up the sonograms on the way out.

They decided to have lunch at their new home since they just got the keys three days  and invite the guys. Rory was craving some chocolate-chip pancakes, burgers and pizza, so they called Luke and Lorelai to join them too and to bring food and coffee. Not that they didn't have coffee in their home, they did, it's one of the many essentials of living with a Gilmore, just like pop tarts and take-out menu's, but they had yet to convince Luke some of his coffee for them to put in stock.

Logan and Rory were snuggled up on the couch talking about the newest development they just found out and were still processing, when the doorbell rang.

"Loinfruit!" Lorelai hugs Rory as soon as she opens the door.

"Ah geez Lorelai! Don't say that!" Luke grumbled. Lorelai and Rory laughed and Logan chuckled and patted Luke on his back. Logan took a few bags with food over from Luke and they made way to the kitchen.

When they put down all the food they heard commotion outside the front door. "Finn, Colin, Robert. Nice to see you again." Rory laughed at how she found them, fighting over who got to ring the doorbell and who got to hug her first. Their heads shot to her in surprise. Finn pushed Colin and Robert back and ran towards her scooping her up in his arms.

"Nice to see you again?! Boys can you believe her?! Never do that to us again, love."

"Not planning on it." She said placing a hand on Logan's hand that now rested on her still flat stomach.

Colin and Robert hugged her and Lorelai showed them to the livingroom since her and Luke had been here before, while Logan and Rory got the food.

"So kid, how's my grandbaby?" Lorelai asked Rory as they sat down and ate.

Finn, Colin and Robert's heads shot up and they looked at Rory.

"Mother is pregnant?" Colin asked surprised. She smiled and nodded.

"Logan, mate, did you know about this?"

Rory looked at Logan, who was trying very hard not to laugh. "You didn't tell them?" He tried to look as innocent as possible and Rory hit his chest. "And the babies are great mom. We're at twelve weeks now and due the fifteenth of July."

"Wow kid, slow down and hit that repeat button. Did you say babies?"

"Yeah there are two little munchkins in here." She replied placing a hand on her stomach unconsciously.

Rory and Logan were once again bombarded by hugs and congratulations.
