The warm, sticky liquid that engulfed my hand as I stumbled back. I froze almost instantly, the xenomorph raised its monstrous head from its resting place. I watch as it slowly rises, arching it's spine and whipping it's tail around behind it. It's gaze rose from the floor and to me. It held completely still. In the time it spent rising I had brought my little Jefe up and pointed it right at the fucker.
It understood what would happen if it moved. Mutually assured destruction. If it were to make a move on me I pull the trigger killing it, but possibly spraying its acid all over me. I could feel it scanning the area for a way around. I did the same. The only gleeming hope I had was a fire extinguisher that was mounted next to the bed, but it wasn't a guaranteed win. I continued to scan the room for a way to effectively kill it without harming me, there was nothing.
As a last ditch effort I decided up on the extinguisher. I fired a round. The shot echoed through the room.
I closed my eyes waiting. But nothing happened. I slowly opened them and looked at the xenomorph. It was missing half it's head. Like it had been blown out. I look to the extinguisher, there was a small dent. The bullet ricocheted and hit in the head.
I laugh hysterically not believing what happened. I drop to my side, becoming dizzy. I land in the blood that was all over the floor. Then I'm brought back down and begin to cry.
