April's POV

We exchanged numbers, and left to go home because parenting is the last period of the day. On the bus, I got a text from Andy:

"We should call the baby Easton."

I looked at the baby doll in the  carrier beside me-- He and I have a plan that we will alternate each day with the child--I scrunched my nose as I processed the name.

"Easton? Ew! No. He looks like a Jarrett."

  "No. It's Easton or nothing."

"I'd rather call him Nothing than Easton."

"Ugh, fine! We'll call him Nothing, then!"

  I rolled my eyes.

  "Cool."

Whatever. I guess he'll be called Nothing Fowler. It has to have the "dad's" last name.

As soon as I arrived home and got comfortable and settled, the baby started crying. Here it starts. I looked in the small diaper bag, pulled out the bottle and stuck it to its mouth. It immediately stopped crying. I started thinking. I realized this is actually a pretty cute project. If I  wasn't already fighting with my partner and his name wasn't Nothing, it would be much cuter.
