Sad stuff.

His lies

(A/N Hi people, I've decided to update with another short story... I don't know if it can be considered a story, but whatever!)

My big brother always lied. All the time, about why he didn't do his homework, and why he was counted as away from school even though Mom and Dad always watched him walk in. He even lied to the police when they came to our house, but I wasn't supposed to tell our parents that the police were there or that he lied to them, because then they would be sad.I wasn't supposed to tell them, just like I wasn't supposed to tell them that he kept a gun in his shirt drawer.

I think my brother trusted me more than anyone, but he lied to me too... 

He lied, when he told me that it was only the sound of fireworks going off.

He lied, when he told me the people outside were screaming about a big spider.

He lied, when he told me I wouldn't see anything from my window.

He lied, when he told me the sirens were for something else.

But his biggest lie, was the words "I'll be right back..."

(A/N Does this make sense? I don't know if it's obvious enough. Anyways the question of the day is: Where do you come up with story ideas? )
