JAKE's P.O.V

I took a deep breath not knowing how Emma was going to react.

"What is it Jake?" Emma asked with concern all over her face.

"Emma... Michael is planning something, something big." I began. "He needs our blood for it. I overheard when they were having a meeting. They are working with a warlock who's going to give them immortality but it can only be done with our blood. It has to be from the both of us...and there's something else...Our blood will also give them power to instantly kill anything that is not a Nightblood." I finished saying everything I knew.

Emma's were wide open along with my parents.

That's the same reaction I had when I overheard this.

"I-I always knew he was planning something but I never knew what..." My mom said.

I turned to her.

"What should we do?" I asked my mom.

"You guys have to leave."she said firmly.

"What?" My sister and I said in unison.

"He can't have your blood if he can't find you." She said looking like she was remembering something else.

She looked at my father with wide eyes.

He shook his head in reassurance and she turned to us looking a little scared.

But of what?

"Mom what is it?" I asked

Emma also looked confused.

It feels weird calling them mom and Dad but I've been waiting for my parents my whole life and I am not waiting any longer by staying mad at them.

"We-Um. Y-you guys have a-an older brother." She said stumbling over her words.

EMMA's POV

I felt my heart drop to my stomach.

"Wh-what do you mean? Where is he? Why wasn't he with us?" I started asking so many questions. I mean how could I not.

"He stayed with us until you were born and that's when we gave you guys away. We don't know where he is. He must've been separated from you guys." She said sound completely distraught.

I've had another brother this whole time. He could've protected us when we needed him, I-I just couldn't imagine how he must feel. I want to look for him.

"We have to look for him." I said composing myself.

"How? He could be anywhere in the world. Plus we have to leave before Michael finds us." Jake said.

"Whether we leave or not there's still a chance Michael knows about him, what if he finds him and uses his blood, assuming that he is like us." I said

I saw Jake sigh.

"He's our brother... We have to find him."

Jake nodded in agreement.

I turned to my mom.

"What's his Name?" I asked as I studied her face carefully.

"Hayden"

My eyes widened in realization.
