Sammie's POV

I rushed to Kyyah so I could go ahead and get this shit over with. When I got there I spotted her quick. She had on this bomb ass black mini dress that hugged every curve. She had a body like buffy and a face like Rihanna.

Maan.. sammie don't do nothing crazy. it's over between yall. it's nothing there. don't think of her into that way nomore.

She stood up and hugged me tightly. "You came! " she smiled "yeaah. now wassup? " she signalled for me to sit down.

"okay look.. remember when I disappeared on everyone? "

"unfortunately I think about it almost every day. "

"I had to.. I'm so sorry. " she put her hand on My leg.

"why'd you have to leave " She pointed over in another directon.

"You see that little boy right there? " My heart dropped to My knees.. I felt she was finna flip some shit over me.

"Yeah.. what about him? "

"Well um.. That's our son. "

My brain jumped out my ears and my heart fell to my ankles. I wanted to cry like G shit. If this is my son, damn right ima man up and take care of my responsibility, But most likely finna loose wifey in the process.

"You look puzzled.. " she grabbed hold of my hand. "Cause I fucking am kyyah! So lemme get this straight, you left, straight disappeared on a nigga while you were pregnant with a child that could possibly be my seed, so why in the fuck would you leave?! that shit sounds retarded as hell! "

Kyyah sighed. "There's no need to yell. I'm sorry. But you know damn well this is you're child. You were my one and only. so there Is no possibility. I'm sure he's ours. he looks just like you, hell, he acts just like you. but, I left because you're family would not have approved of me getting pregnant, and my family would've killed us BOTH. So I would've been in a tough situation. "

I tried to speak but she cut me off. "So I fleed to Texas not knowing anyone, I started stripping and still am to fend for my child. I have no one. I mean my best friend yanna helps alot, but I have no one. " she started crying so I pulled her closer.

"why didn't you call me sooner? " I asked. "Cause.. I couldn't bring myself to ask you for help. " "That's not asking me for help, That's taking care of my seed. "

"Christian! " she called after our son. She gave him my middle name. "mommy! it's birdies over there! " she smiled and asked how many. "a zillion! " "That's alot of birds Christian! " he laughed and laid his head on her lap.

"Christian, remember how I told you that daddy was on vacation? " she asked him.

He nodded his head. " Well daddy is back now ! " she smiled which caused him to laugh.

I leaned down to hug Christian. He hesitated but eventually hugged me. "Y'all wanna go to get some ice cream or something? " I ask.

" Yes!! " they yell in sync.

We stayed in the icecream parlor for about an hour. My boy was definitely real intelligent . He's 5 and a big ball of energy. He shares me and kyyah's features. My eyes, her nose, my facial structure, and her curly hair.

" Lemme talk to you " Kyyah pulled me outside to the car.

"Wassup? "

"Look Sammie.. I'm moving to Atlanta Cause I really need you're help. and I am just in love with how you interact with Christian. I never bought men around him so this is something new for him. And I just wanna let you know that I still love you.. so much. so much to the point Where I still cry myself to sleep at night Cause you're not there. I tried to forget about you and keep it moving but I just couldn't. "

I was shocked by her words. "I'm willing to be here no matter what for that boy. He's my son so Ima man up, and I love you too, but Kyyah.. you sprung up on a nigga when I just started falling in love again."

I rubbed my hand across my face.  "My girl lalani. Me and lalani have been together for a while and I love that girl. and by you saying that just messed with my head. "

She sighed. "I knew this would happen. And I'm glad that you moved on. " She shot me a weak smile. "No your not. " I whisper. "No. I am really happy. I'm just disappointed in myself that I didn't pull myself to do this earlier . "

A tear fell And I kissed it away. She looked up and we were face to face. "I love you ky. " and all of a sudden my lips smashed into hers.
