Isabella's pov-

I woke up to the yelling of my father and twin brother. There going at it again. Not a surprise to anyone. I look at my phone to see a text from Leland, my best friend in the entire world who I may have a crush on.

Lele: hey Belle's just saying you need to wake the hell up. I'm not waiting for you if we r late to school

Belle's: well FYI idiot I'm up.
Theo and my dad r at it again

That's all I could send when I heard Theo yell " don't u touch her." I hid my phone and the next thing I know my hair is being grabbed and I'm slammed up against the wall. I didn't make a sound knowing I'm used to the pain by now. U see my dad has abused me ever since our mom had died in a fire that he says is my fault and he never fails to remind me that every damn day. " U know ur mother should have listened to me and just kept Theo he's the better one of you two I mean come on your, pathetic, worthless, piece of shit." I was crying and my head was hurting he had a knife and slashed it across my stomach I screamed in pain and that's when I was tossed to the other side of the room. My father, or what me and Theo just call him, John, had finally left my room and now Theo was right beside me well practically holding me whispering in my ear it'll be ok non stop. After a half and hour me and Theo decided to get dressed quickly for school before Leland gets here to get me and Theo's friend to come and get him. I put on one of Theo's black shirts since it'll be good enough so it won't show my new scare I'll have and bruises, and a pair or regular jeans. I put my hair in a bun on top of my head and did my make up since. I had a busted lip and a black eye. Since he football team was playing tonight I divided to do Lelands high school colors, maroon and gold. I had light gold eye shadow and a very bright light maroon colored lipstick on. I wore my white converse to finish my out fit and grabbed my phone just to see a text from Leland

Lele: hey babygirl I'm out front can't wait to kiss you 😘

I smiled when I read it and decided to reply before I went out.

Belle's: hey sweetie be right out oh and kiss me? Don't know what to say 😁

With that I grabbed my bag and earbuds and headed out my bedroom door just as my brother did the same. " Good where my shirt. Ur smart u i know that. But after school we know there will be hell to pay so stay with me ok?" We we're now out side the house. When we passed dad he was passed out on the couch so all we did was flip him off. I nodded at my brother's question and he kissed my head and said everything will be fine before we both walked in our different ways. I went to get in the white Hummer that Leland owns and instantly regretted it. My stomach hurt like a bitch. When I was fully in I closed the door and looked at Leland. He looked pissed but didn't say anything as he started to drive.

When we got to the school since our highschool and middle School is conjoined. He parked the Hummer and locked the doors so I couldn't get out. All I did was look at him.  He looked at me and good did I want to kiss his fine ass lips so badly. Then he spoke. "Belle's where the hell and don't lie to me. Where the hell did you get that thing across your stomach and neck?" I looked in the rear view mirror and saw the blue purple bruise that would never could be lied off about as a hicky. I knew then that I had to tell him the truth. " My dad." I looked at him and he looked at me as if to continue. " Every day since my mom has died my dad beats me saying it was my fault that she has died. Theo tries his hardest to stop it but he gets Into a brawl with my dad and dad just passed out in the middle of it but yeah that's where the bruises r from. Oh and he has killed my older and younger siblings due to wither rape or abuse. So now it me and Theo. The Raeken twins." I look down and let a tear shed as I hear him cuss underneath his breath. He puts his thumb underneath my chin for me to look up. I do and look into his brown hazel eyes while they are searching my face again. "That's why u never smile and wear makeup isn't it?" I just nod and unlock my door and get out before he says anything and bolt straight to Theo. He looks at me and down at both of our phones that read:.

Father/bitch: get your asses to the mobile near your school now we're leaving state I already burnt the house so no buts bout it. NOW LETS MOVE!

now I'm petrified. I look at Theo and he gives me a sympithetic look before taking my hand and walking us to the mobile gas station that's a five minute walk from here. I look for Leland and he's no where neither is his Hummer. Great. Now our dad is taking us away and now the Chapman's will be on dad's but. Woohoo
