As they entered through the gates, Michiyo and Ayumu couldn't help but say, "Whoa!" The academy was huge. The first thing they saw was an extremely big soccer field. They could see some players passing the ball back and forth. It was probably their practice session. To their left was a giant baseball ground. Nets had been set up, and here too, people were practising. As they went on further, the tennis court soon came into view. The sight of the net and the stands nearly made Ayumu jump with excitement. Michiyo had to remind her that she was a high-schooler.

Actually, Michiyo herself was really excited too. She was just somehow more mature than Ayumu in these cases. She herself could not wait to see the swimming pool. She wanted to dive into the pool immediately and swim to her heart's delight. She always loved new pools. Michiyo, with her shoulder length brown hair, and a sporty physique, looked like an athlete. Beside her, Ayumu looked...well...small. She was petite and had dark hair longer than Michiyo's and a well toned body.

Presently, Ayumu's brown eyes were rather big and gleaming with excitement from seeing the tennis court. She was a tennis player and had been playing from a time she could barely remember even. Tennis, stars, and books were her favourite pastimes. If not in the court, she could usually be found in the library reading big fat "reference books" for "fun" as she said, or at night, possibly star-gazing.

As they were walking past the court, Ayumu suddenly clutched Michiyo's hand. "OW!" She had a strong grip. "Michiyo, from when can we practise?"Ayumu said, her eyes gleaming, completely ignoring Michiyo's cry of pain. At that, Michiyo couldn't help smiling. "I don't know", she replied,"soon enough I suppose."

"How long till we get to the basketball court, Wakamatsu?"said a drawling voice from behind them. Michiyo turned back with a smirk. "You sound strangely excited, Daiki." she commented. Aomine Daiki opened his eyes. "Why do you even try, Michiyo?" he replied with his usual poker face. "It's evident that you're far more excited than I am..." Michiyo smiled and turned away. Yes, she was certainly excited.

Beside her, Ayumu smiled a little. She could see Michiyo blushing a little at Aomine's words. The three of them had been very good friends these past few months, but Ayumu noticed Aomine and her best friend getting closer gradually and had kept her distance. Knowing Michiyo, if Ayumu provoked her, she would probably shut Aomine out from her life.
