There was a huge building in front, which was probably where all the indoor games were to be held. But unfortunately for Michiyo, they were not allowed in now. The girls were led by a volunteer to their assigned rooms. Quite obviously, Ayumu and Michiyo were to share a room. Michiyo opened the door to the room, and took a deep breath. The window was open and the entire campus could be seen. Michiyo put her rucksack down and looked at the view. As expected, Ayumu joined her, flinging her rucksack onto a bed. The bed shook violently. Michiyo shouted, "What on Earth?" Ayumu turned towards her in slow motion, with a sheepish smile on her face, "Sorry." Michiyo sighed. How clumsy could someone be?

After changing and freshening up, they headed downstairs to greet Aomine. As per traditional rule, girls could enter the boys' hostel, but boys coudn't enter the girls'. As soon as they went down, they heard Aomine complaining lazily, "Captain, I said I'd come, but after a while. There is some work I need to complete."

His captain sighed. "Fine. Do whatever you wish, but do turn up for practise today." "Hai, hai" Aomine replied. As his captain left, Michiyo asked him, "bunking practice again, are you, Daiki?" You know you shouldn't-" "Hai, hai, I know. Don't lecture-" his eyes widened, "Uh-oh". Michiyo turned back to where Ayumu was standing, well not the way she had expected it. "I WASN'T EVEN GOING ANYWHERE!" Ayumu shouted. A rather tall boy with green hair, standing in front of her adjusted his specs with a bandaged finger. He had on a black coat buttoned up to the collar, and black pants with a piggy bank in his hands to complete the look.

Michiyo immediately recognised him as Midorima Shintarou. He replied calmly, "then how did you bump into me?" "Me?"Ayumu smirked, "I didn't-" to prevent what might've otherwise turned into a mini-war, Michiyo wisely intervened. "Um, Ayumu? This is Midorima Shintarou. He and Daiki played together for Teiko's basketball team." She knew Ayumu respected great players like him, but the next thing was unexpected. Ayumu turned to her, "I don't care if he's a God. Why won't he admit his fault?" "That's simple. Because I wasn't at fault." Without another glance towards her, he nodded at Aomine and walked away.

"Sorry." Ayumu said to Michiyo and Aomine, "he really pissed him off." Aomine smirked. "Congrats Saruwatari; now you're on the same level as the Kiseki no Sedai." Ayumu smiled. "I'm going to find out from when we can practise. Wanna come, Michiyo?" "H-hai" Michiyo replied. Waving to Aomine, the girls walked towards their coaches' room.
