Babysitting The Night Class

A/N: This means they are speaking in telepathy and or someone is having a flashback and or Mad Hatter is typing on her phone and it will be in 'these things'.

Once they arrived, it was nearly dusk. The Night Class students headed towards the Headmaster's office in the main building. As they walked, the agents observed the layout and calculated all of the exit and entrances for enemies. They heard giggling up ahead and immediately stood in front of their person. The Night Class chuckled and told them to lie off. King, Red, Dagger, Blaze, Black Jack, and Cheshire Cat all started to joke around with the students. Mad Hatter on the other hand was walking silently beside Kaname. Kaname looked slightly downward to see the girl. He was curious as to why she was so silent.

The girl could feel his stare but chose to ignore it. The Pureblood opened a door on the left side of the hallway and stepped in; soon followed by the other students. The agents spread out over the back wall. Hatter leaned against the wall in the left corner with her head down, in silence.

Her head snapped up suddenly causing Aido to jump ten feet into the air. The others students chuckled while the agents looked towards Hatter.

"What is it?" Cheshire Cat questioned.

"Not what, who," replied Mad Hatter.

"Ok, then who?" He questioned.

"The man called the Headmaster. We should recognize him as the legendary vampire hunter, Kaien Cross." The boys looked shocked towards her. She simply looked at the door waiting for it to open.

"So you're telling me that the Kaien Cross is the Headmaster here?" King questioned skeptically. Mad Hatter nodded her head causing her hair to sway revealing a tricked out eye patch covering her right eye. Kaname briefly pondered whether or not he should ask him about it, but he thought better and kept his mouth shut.

The door soon slammed open and revealed the Headmaster along with two day class students. He started jumping around the room until he realized he had guests. He cleared his throat.

"You must be the bodyguards we sent for," he stated referring to the seven silent people in the back of the room. King just nodded his head a little.

"Well, go on. Introduce you," he told them as he took a seat behind the desk in the front of the room.

"I'm King."

"I'm Red."

"I'm Dagger."

"I'm Blaze."

"Black Jack."

"Cheshire Cat and that's Mad Hatter," Cheshire supplied for the Headmaster. He nodded his head and smiled brightly.

"These are my loving children, Yuki and Zero," his eyes sparkled as he said their names. Mad Hatter stole a glance at the boy named Zero. His name sounded familiar for some reason. Once she got a look at him, she gasped. The other students turned just in time to see her one visible eye widen and then she collapsed.

~Flashback. Mad Hatter's Pov. Age 9~

"Zero! Ichiru!" I shouted as I sprang off of the front steps and into their awaiting arms. They both chuckled and hugged me back twice as tightly as I was hugging them.

"How's my favourite girl?" They both questioned at the same time. I giggled and swiftly flipped myself onto Zero's back.

"I'm amazing now that both of you are here!" I exclaimed right as the man who saved my life came into sight.

"Toga! Toga! Look who's here?!" shouted as I flipped off of Zero's back and bolted towards him. With a chuckle, he picked me up and twirled me around.
