The storm has ended at long last
The terrifying thunder subsided
Tiny drops of rain are pouring down
Faint rays peek through the clouds
I'm free of your captivity at long last
Free from all those dreams binding me to you
I'm going solo on my own journey
To discover what it really means to be me
All the burdens have been lifted...
All the worries are now over, over!
The hailstorm has faded and ended...
All the troubles are now gone, gone!
I can see new roads spread out before me.
With a mind as clear as day
I'm never going astray
I'll be moving on steadily
To achieve my way
I've left the old roads behind
Cuz they're leading me nowhere
I've started out on a journey
That lifts me far from here
