Morgan's P.O.V

As I watched Jonah's face light up that Ellie was now healthy and ready to go home, I wish it was Daniel. Everyone's worried about me, Adalyn's scared, I'm scared of the fact they said if he doesn't wake up by tomorrow, we have to pull the plug. Jonah turns to me and his smile fades as I sit with my feet tucked underneath me. Keri and Jeff came almost instantly when I rung them the next day to tell them what happened, Tyler and Chris came a few days after. Anna came yesterday as she was busy with school. Logan and Jake have been to check on me, as well as the other boys. They've been trying to get me to speak but I've been as quiet as a mouse for 3 weeks. 

"Please get something to eat."~Jonah

"No, I'm staying here and I'm not moving,"~Morgan. That's the first time I've even spoken to anyone.

"Please Morgan."~Jonah. I shake my head and he sighs.

"He'll be okay."~Ellie

"No, he won't! If he doesn't wake up by tomorrow, they have to kill him! I'm not even close to being able to be a widowed mother with a 1-year-old!"~Morgan

"Morgan stop thinking about the bad things and think of the good in it too."~Jonah

"Whatever, you're lucky she can go home for Christmas."~I say and put my head on my knee.

"I almost forgot it's Christmas in 2 days."~Ellie says with half a smile.

"Guys please don't wait around longer, I want to be alone."~Morgan

"Go home then."~Jonah

"Don't get cocky you asshole."~Morgan

"Just stating the obvious."~Jonah says before walking to me, He hugs me and I hug back before he lets go.

"Please be careful."~Jonah

"I will J, don't worry."~Morgan. They both smile and then leave as I'm left in silence again. I stand up and reposition myself so I'm comfortable as a Nurse walks in and checks his pulse. 

"It seems to be higher now that Jonah and Ellie have gone, maybe it's because it's just you."~Jenny.

"You never know."~Morgan

"So, how did you guys meet?"~Jenny

"Oh, my older brother decided he wanted me to meet his friends and I did, we went to a cafe and had breakfast and then we became really close."~Morgan

"That's cute, When did you get married?"~Jenny

"September 1st in 2019."~Morgan

"That's my birthday."~She says with a smile. I smile at her and she smiles again before walking out. I look over at Daniel and see him move ever so slightly as I put my legs down on the floor, hoping he'd move at least some more. Nothing. 

"Danny come on."~I say and he doesn't do anything.

"Hey, Morgan."~Corbyn says a bit too cheerily as I look at the other boys walking through the door.

"Do you want some fries?"~Zach

"I'm fine thank you Bubba."~Morgan

"Please eat something."~Jack

"I've lost my appetite, I'm not hungry."~Morgan

"Morgan eat something."~Corbyn says sternly.

"I'm fine."~I say with a sigh. The boys all look at each other before looking at me.

"Do you want something to drink at least?"~Jack

"I have my water."~Morgan. They all tilt their heads back in defeat as I look back to Daniel.
