First of all I ain't no infantry man, second of all I ain't no moose riding maple syrup drinking Mountie, third of all I ain't nobody named buck, and last but not least I ain't no peace keeper.

I am a JTF2 Cansofcoms operator, I was right up on the front line sometimes even helping Americans. No I am a sniper and that I can guarantee. I had completed my training and been through a few ops, now this op, this op was my first solo op. I had no spotter, no back up, only an evac if shit went south. Now my task was to crawl up to 4 km of dirt hills and trees while the ground team defended a civilian outpost. Not to difficult you ask, well this is a well known area along with high hostile activity.

The ride:

I was in the back of an APC while the rest of the ground team sat by. So your a sniper asked one who appeared to be new, I nodded with a yes. Our eyes from behind said another. Then before the new guy could speak again the APC came to halt. Sniper this is your drop off, get a move on. I opened the rear door as the ground team watched me, I then jumped out and moved off the road. I started my crawling until I got a transmission, it read this is hq speaking there will a slight change in operation due to changes in our policy, solo missions will only be granted for assassinating solo targets. I replied with a confirm, then it read wait st your position your new battle buddy will be with you shortly. I continued to wait, a sudden movement made me jerk my head to it's direction, with a gaze I noticed another sniper appear. Oh boy if he wasn't wearing Multicam he was as good as dead to me. He asked are you code name tech? I nodded, he replied I'm code name phlash, he then gestured we kept moving. So I continued to crawl.

2 hours later:

We were now only 100 meters away, I started rolling around in the dirt and mud to get the full chilies affect, he copied and did the same. Now we crawled slowly till we were 10 yards away from vantage point. We had to ensure we were slow cause any wrong movement and mortars will rain down on us. I got to my vantage point and took position. He copied and we both scanned the area.

We had 30 minutes until ground team would arrive, so we made some small conversation, we spoke about how we were issued multiple uniforms ranging from pure tan to Multicam to Cadpat TW  And Cadpat AR ok'ing with white and black etc. Then we spoke about our snipers, I mentioned how I witnessed a hostile fight and how mortars made them completely forget about there argument.

Then the ground team rolled in. All geared up and taking point, this was the calm before the storm, then the first shot rang it was a hostile sniper, we heard a crack as one of our men shouted sniper then a bang. He was clearly within 400 meters of range.

Phlash looked all around but neither of us could find him. Then a heavy leg fired out. We watched as trucks with Mg's drove in. Out ground team had 1 APC and two humvees, I zoomed in my scope and aimed my reticle at the first truck. I took the shot and the gunner was down, then the rest swarmed out of the trucks seeking cover. Two trucks managed to move there mg to cover and continued to surpress our ground team, we started calling out targets and taking them out. I heard a shout and watched as a javelin shot toward an abandoned building. After 6 seconds the building was gone. No more hostile sniper rounds being fired. I watched as the hostile ground troops retreated. Phlash chuckled as we waited for the ground team's reinforcements. I motioned phlash our job here was done, we both got up and walked to rendezvous point. That was a short I mentioned, phlash replies yeah as we continued to walk. We noticed a black hawk waiting for us and we climbed aboard, h.q. sent a transmission saying "good job boys" I did not reply as the black hawk flew off taking us ha k to base.

(Hey guys tell me how well you think I did and if I should keep writing, also please give me feedback and advice thx.)
