Chapter 2: The Slip Up

C/N POV

As I stared into Y/N's eyes I couldn't help but lean in a little. I noticed how close I was and leaned away, "Sorry, if I was to close..." I felt heat rise up into my cheeks.

I looked away to hide it but looked at Y/N who was laughing. "W-What?!" I could feel the heat increase.

"Its nothing" She smiled making my heart flutter again. 

I swear one of these times I'm going to explode from that smile. Y/N's smile is like an angel's smile, I fall for it every time. Her smile is so sweet that candy melts from it, it makes every guy go head over heals for her, and its not fake like every other girl in school. If I could I would make her smile all the time just so I can fall in love over and over again.

Y/N POV

C/N was zoning out again, and was staring at me. I don't like when people stare at me it makes me feel weird. Also his cheeks were brushed with a tint of red, I don't know if it was from the brisk air or if it was something else. "Um... C/N your staring again."

'His face went bright red! What did I do!' I thought as he looked away. I looked back at the sky, smiling as I set my plate on the ground at the end of the swing set. I heard the door open but didn't care about it, until my brother came out giggling. I looked at him and wondered what he was giggling about, then he came skipping over to me. 

"Hey sis! Wanna play!" He giggles looking at me then at C/N, I glare at him.

"I don't know little bro, maybe after the companies gone." I ruffle his hair making him giggle more.

"Please~" He looks at me cutely, I resist the look.

"Not going to work this time bro." I smile giving him a hug. 

I felt C/N looking at us, so I look at him but he looks away, it hurt me slightly but I looked back at my brother who was running off with my phone. He was giggling as he ran over to his little hole on the other side of the yard.

"Hey! Get back here with that!" I go after him trying to get my phone.

C/N POV

I smile as Y/N went after her brother who had her phone, I held in a laugh. I watched as Y/N cornered her brother who was smiling. 

"Play with me! Please sis~ you never do anymore!" Her brother sat down in the corner of the yard.

I saw Y/N smirk which make me gasp. Her smirk was so devilish looking, but angelic at the same time. 

"Alright you want me to play with you, then I will." She sat beside her brother, grabbing her phone from him the smirk still playing on her face.

"Yay!" Her brother hugged her, then squealed trying to get away from Y/N.

I heard Y/N laugh as she wrapped her arms around her little brother, who was squealing and giggling lots.

I saw Y/N look at me with a smile, then went back to whatever she was doing with her brother. Her smile makes my heart stop every time. I couldn't see what she was doing, but I figured I didn't want to know.

Y/N POV

As I tickled my little brother I looked at C/N who was smiling at me, so I smiled back. I felt my brother squirm to get free while he was giggling.

"No more! No more!" He tried to stop me, but I just laughed.

"Are you going to leave me alone until the company leaves?" I asked him as I stopped, but didn't let him out of my grip.

"Yes!" I smiled as I let him go. He gave me a quick kiss on the cheek before running inside.

I laughed before going back to C/N. I stood up dusting myself off then went back to C/N. "Sorry about that, he can be stubborn sometimes." I smile sitting back down

C/N smiled, nearly taking my breath away, oh how I loved that smile, and everything about him. "Its fine, looked like you two were having fun."

I smiled "Sometimes depending on what we play." I noticed him staring again. "Is something wrong? Your staring a lot."

He turned away, 'the red is back! What does it mean!?' I tilted my head, "Do I have something on my face?"

He laughed a little, it made my heart jump. "No, its just that... That you are really, really cute and I can't help but stare at your beauty!"

I felt heat rise up to my cheeks, 'did he just say that!' I stare at him in shock.

C/N POV

'DID I JUST SAY THAT!' I feel the heat cover my entire face. I look over at Y/N who was bright red and staring at me in shock. 

I didn't know what to do so I sat there in silence waiting for Y/N to say something. She shook her head as the redness left her cheeks. 'She probably doesn't even like me' I thought to myself.

I looked down fiddling with my fingers, until I heard her laugh a little making me look up. 

"Took you long enough." Y/N smiled, as I felt something on my hand. 

I looked at my hand to see hers sitting right on top of it. I smiled as I wrapped my hand around hers. "Did it?"

Y/N blushed and nodded, "Yeah, I've been waiting for a while."

I smiled and kissed her cheek making her blush a dark red. I laughed slightly and poked her cheek "You blush easily."

Y/N turned her head "Shut up, no I don't" She pouted.

I burst into laughter, making her pout more. "You really are a cute kitten."

Y/N looked at me, "Hey! I am not a kitten and i'm not cute! I am death itself! Fear me!" 

I laughed more "Sure you are!"

Y/N smiled as leaned closer "I am~"

I stopped laughed and blushed dark red. "No your not, your a cute kitten to me."

Y/N blushed but leaned closer to me and smirked, then quickly pecked my lips and walked off. "I gotta take these inside i'll be back."

I sat there in shock not knowing what to do, "O-Okay."
