Chapter 3: What Happened?

Your Pov

I go inside to put the plates in the sink while I have thousands of thoughts filling my head. 'Did I just kiss him?! Why didn't I notice before?! Was I that oblivious?!' I sigh as the noise and heat hits my face. I quickly walk back out to C/N as the coolness hits my face again.

I smile as I see C/N who was bright red and starring at the door in shock. I laugh as I come and sit beside him. 

"W-What?" He stutters 'Cute' I think as I smile at him.

"Nothing, you were just starring at the door as if you were wondering if I would come back." I look at the door then back at C/N.

"Oh..." I feel C/N looking at me, "I guess I was, I mean why would a girl like you like someone like me. I'm pretty much a no body."

"What?! No that is not true!" I gasp looking at C/N in shock.

C/N Pov

I jump slightly at the sudden gasp from Y/N and smile. "Alright if you say so."

I see Y/n smile as she looked up at the sky, "Do you wanna go somewhere? I'm sure the adults won't mind."

I look at Y/N who didn't look away from the sky. "Ya I'd like that, but where?"

Y/N smiles and looks at me, "I know a great place, its about a block from here."

I watch as Y/N stands up and goes over to the fence gate. "You coming?" She looks over her shoulder.

I stand up and smile "Ya i'm coming."

Y/N Pov

I smile as i leave the yard with C/N on my tail. I hadn't shown anyone this place and it was special to me, because of past memories. I knew exactly where to go and how to get there, I always came around this time. Right when the stars were shinning brightly and it was clear as day outside.

I noticed that C/N stopped at the edge of the forest (Its in the middle of the forest deal with it lol). "What's wrong C/N?" I look at C/N confused.

"I-I don't do well with forests at night..." C/N looks back the way we came.

I smile and go over to C/N as I take his hand. "Don't worry you have me with you, and nothing will hurt you trust me. And no i'm not trying to kill you if that's what your thinking." I laugh slightly as I lead C/N into the forest.

I see the clearing so I run towards it letting go of C/N's hand as a smile spreads across my face. I get to the center of the clearing and do a full three-sixty spin breathing in the clean air and taking in the cool breeze that seemed to dance around me.

C/N Pov

I freak out slightly as Y/N's hand leaves my own, but I smile when I see her run to a clearing that was a few feet away from where I was standing. I followed Y/N to the clearing and smiled when I saw her spinning around and smiling like there wasn't a thing in the world that could hurt her in any way, and I would love to keep it that way.
