Richie's POV:

We all sat down in Stanley's backyard on the chairs we set around a fire. I looked at Stanley's mom and lifted my glasses up a little. "Now, you boys better not burn yourselves. Be safe" she said and left me, Stanley, Billy, Beverly, Eddie, and Ben outside.

"You lost the bet" Stanley said and looked at Eddie.

"Fine. What do you want?"

Beverly whispered in Bens ear something, then Ben went to Billy, Then went to Stanley. Stanley smiled and I knew that smile from anywhere.

"You and Richie have to date for ONE month" Stanley said and my jaw dropped. "WHAT?!" Eddie yelled. "Why do I have to be included into this?!! Eddie is the one who lost the bet!!" I ranted. No way was I going to "date" a huge nerd like him. Let alone a GUY.

"I- I'll p-p-pay both of you 35 d-d-d-d-dollars" Bill stuttered out. I looked at Ben who was smirking. I rolled my eyes and took a quick look at Beverly, who was intensly watching the whole thing.

"C'mon. Lets just do it. Its for fake anyways" Eddie whispered. "Fine.." I said aloud and Stanley nodded.

This is going to be a long month.

"But.. Rules" Eddie and I groaned and by now, Beverly was on the edge of her chair.

"You guys HAVE to act like a couple ANYWHERE you go" He said and Ben "Oouu"ed while I mentally facepalmed.

"Fine" Eddie and I said at the same time.

A/N: I know it was short. It was really just a chapter of how it all began. Enjoy the rest of this most likely shitty story. I dont know if this is going to be a short story or not. But eh.
