I woke up and looked at out my window to see the sunset and figured I fell asleep while thinking. I looked at the sunset until there was a knock on my door. I got up and opened it.

"Yes, mommy?" I asked. "I'm going to the store. Don't burn the house down" she said and with that, she walked away with no other words.

After 5 minuets of being home alone, anxiety started to kick in and I grabbed my inhaler and put it to my mouth, pressing down and breathing in. I put my fanny pack around my waist.

I opened the door and walked out, walking to Billy's since he lived closest. I knocked on his door and he, himself, opened the door. "Can I come in and hang out?" I asked and he nodded letting me in. We both walked up to his room.

"W- What's up'?" He asked and I sat on his bed while he sat on his bean bag. "Nothing. Just wanted to hang out" I said and took my fanny pack off and setting it next to me. "T—TV?" He asked and I nodded.

"Eddie, your mom just called saying it's time to go home" Billy's mom came in and said. I looked at the window and saw it was dark. "Okay. I'll get going" she left and I put my fanny pack around my waist. "Fuck. See you later Bill," I said and hurried down the stairs to the door.

When I got out I gulped. I grabbed my inhaler and put it to my mouth, pressing down and breathing in. I walked until I turned around when I heard footsteps. I turned around to see and man looking at me and fast walking.

That triggered something in me, and I ran home, breathing hardly. When I was a few houses down from mine I turned around and saw he was gone. I grabbed my inhaler, putting it to my mouth and pressing down multiple times. My breathing wouldn't slow down.

After a while my breathing went normal and I walked in my house to see my mom on the couch watching TV. "Where did you go?" She asked. "Billy's" I replied simply. She nodded in reply and I went upstairs.

I took a shower, brushed my teeth, and got my clothes out for tomorrow. When I finished, I laid down, turning my lamp off and looked at my night light that I had since I didn't like the dark. I didn't have many thoughts I usually did.

Soon I was drifted off into sleep.
