The Truth

Hooks POV

We went all the way back to the house together and nobody said a word. When we got inside Emma sat down at the table and me and David sat across from her.

Emma: So, how long?

she broke the silence.

David: A while.

He looked at me after he said the words and smiled.

Hook: 2 months ago, to be exact

I looked at her with shamed filled eyes.

Hook: I never meant to hurt you, it was kind of an accident really. But I love him and the only thing that would separate us is if you're pregnant so did you take the test or not?

Emma: I did.

David: AND??

she was quiet, I looked over at him as if to said "can you shut up for 2 fucking seconds?!" She looked at him and rolled her eyes with disgust.

Emma: I let you come into my home because I thought you were my friend but you were just the whore that took my boyfriend away from me so you don't get to speak, Trash.

David was about to say something a lot worse than 'trash' or 'whore' so I spoke up.

Hook: stop! right now! I want to know if your pregnant or not so we can leave and never have to speak to each other again or I can say goodbye to David...and you and me can deal with this mess, sounds good?

I looked at him with sad eyes, praying to God she wasn't pregnant because I don't know what I would do if I had to say goodbye to him.

For what seemed like ever it was quiet, Emma folded her hands and then looked up at me it was tears in her eyes

Emma: I'm not, I tried I really did. I knew you were leaving me I know you found somebody else so I took a page out of your book and had an affair, I tried to get pregnant just so I could say it was yours and you wouldn't leave him and be with me.

I clenched my teeth and took Davids hand in mine

Hook: let's go.

I stood up made my way to the door. Her head was in her hands when I turned around to look at her she was crying and it occurred to me that this woman that I was in love with 3 months ago just lost a the love of her life. But yet I had just found mine. Me and David left the house and started walking down the street. I interlock our fingers and he looked over and smiled at me and stopped talking.

Hook: what? What's wrong?

David: I love you.

He cupped my cheeks and kissed me hard and I kissed back. We didn't care if anybody saw us or if they did what they would say. I love him and he loved me and that's all that mattered.

Hook: I love you too.

5 months later

Davids POV.

Me and Killian had been together for 5 months now officially. We have been best friends forever I knew I would always love him, theirs is nobody else for me but him. So I planned on asking him to marry me and I've never been more nervous in my whole entire life.

I roll over and rest my head on Killian's bare chest and twirl my finger in his chest hair

David: I love you.
