birthday present (jihoon)

soonyoung checked the time, it was 11:56p.m. he had been doing his work and taking glances at his clock on the wall for about an hour now.

'maybe i can go now?' the man thought as he turned off his laptop and took out a big box that he hid in his wardrobe for about three weeks now. he then made his way to the small room which was a studio where his boyfriend was at.

why was soonyoung holding a box? well, it was his boyfriend's birthday and he wanted to surprise the younger with his gift. he also wanted to be the first person to greet his boyfriend. he failed to do so last year and the year before that because of jihoon's best friend, seungkwan.

the big box contained a smaller box that had a pair of sneakers in them and also another small heart shaped box that had a bunch of candy and snacks inside.

the sneakers were supposed to be couple sneakers since soonyoung bought the exact same pair for himself too.

soonyoung slowly opened the door, careful to not make any noises when creeping into the room.

just when he opened the door slightly, soonyoung could hear jihoon talking to someone. he peeked into the room, he saw his boyfriend on the phone.
who could it be?

"mhm, yeah you know about the- oh you did it? yeah OK. just make sure to finish it, yeah ... oh yeah, thanks ... sure, by tomorrow ... OK, bye." jihoon hangs up. soonyoung checks the time, it was 11:59.

just then, the clumsy man by the door accidentally made the door creak. jihoon looking behind him to see a soonyoung on the floor, the older was devastated. he wanted to make everything a surprise but he obviously blew it up. he then got up and ran up to the younger, leaving the nicely wrapped box outside the room.

soonyoung lifted his boyfriend off of the floor and swung him around as if the younger was a plush.
"happy birthday!"

"ah! put me down, kwon!" jihoon didnt think that the older would just rush in and carry him just like that.
soonyoung then put the younger down for awhile before carrying him again, bridal style.

jihoon stared up at his boyfriend, "i haven't finished composing yet-" soonyoung places his lips on the other's, shutting him up and walking into their bedroom.

"you can do that later, or tomorrow. i want to give you your birthday present." soonyoung puts the smaller down on their bed before blindfolding the younger. jihoon was nervous, 'what is he gonna do?'

soonyoung went outside the room to grab the box and headed back into the room. he placed the big box on the bed, in front of his boyfriend. the older takes jihoons hands and places it on the box before undoing the blindfold. "i'm ready," jihoon mumbled.

jihoon looked like he was somewhat surprised

"wait, is it not.. that?"
"that? what do you-"
"no! nevermind!" jihoon cursed at himself for having impure thoughts.

after awhile of thinking, soonyoung smirked. "do you want that too?" he teased the younger.
"don't worry, i can do that too." jihoon could feel his cheeks starting to heat up.

soonyoung chuckled and placed a kiss on the other's forehead, "there's no need to be shy, i haven't done it before too." he grinned, he liked how flustered and shy his boyfriend looked.

"w-whatever," jihoon starting unwrapping the  present soonyoung gave. rather than tearing the whole thing apart, he slowly opened it by removing all the tape before opening the box.

"this is such a big box, what did you even put in here?" jihoon asks before opening the box. he sees two other wrapped boxes. one that's a heart shape thats wrapped cutely with a teddy bear wrapper and the other which was a rectangular box wrapped with a shiny silver wrapper.
