the darkness in the night
exemplifies my loneliness.
the man on the moon is my only companion.
a memory of your lit up eyes
causes an adrenaline rush within me.
the feeling of your leg brushing mine,
the feeling of your warmth surrounding me
creates a familiar feeling of reassurance
that i wish i could feel forever.
forever's only for a finite amount of time
because in another day or two,
there'll be another pair of eyes
you'd be gazing in to.
