It took about an hour until I was able to stand up and look in the mirror. I looked pretty damn good. For a panicked kidnapped girl, I looked stunning as hell. His sister worked miracles. I wore the dark apple red dress with a pair of black heels, my light red hair was left down in perfect curls. The only makeup she put on me was some mascara, dark red lipstick, and a little bit of blush.

She picked up Brooklyn and began to walk toward the door, that's when my mind came back full blown to the situation I was in. I looked in the mirror and saw the panic in my eyes begin to show through. I looked at Madelyn and she frowned a bit.

"What's wrong?" Did she know I was kidnapped and held at gunpoint? How could she not?

"I wasn't asked politely to come here you know. In fact, I wasn't asked at all. I was held at gunpoint and told to keep calm. How the fuck was I supposed to keep calm with a fucking gun to my head!" I slowly began to raise my voice until I saw Brooklyn begin to panic.

"He put a gun to you! God dammit we told him not to do this! For fuck's sake, he never listens!" What the actual fuck. I'm more confused now than I was before. Great.

"Let's go, he's gonna learn, don't worry" She had danger in her tone as she spun around and held the door open for me.

"Mama gonna kick some booty" Brooklyn smiled and clapped.

"Cazzo Santo..." I looked over at who the words came from, and to no surprise, I came face to face with Chris, he cleared his throat and walked over to me.

"You look very nice Gattina" Chris bowed his head down slightly to me, making me turn bright red. I keep getting more and more confused about what's happening here.

"She looks hot." I saw the anger burn in Chris's eyes at whoever made the statement, but he did nothing, he just stared at me, his eyes burning holes through my skull.

"You held a fucking gun to her!" Oh thank god for Madelyn, it was beginning to get way too awkward for me.

Chris blinked a few times before turning to look at his sister, his jaw clicking. He brushed his hand through his hair pulling at the ends and started to stutter trying to come up with an excuse.

"Don't even try and give me an excuse!" Chris tried to say something but decided against it. Good choice.

"It's more fun to see the panic in people eyes when they realize they're scopata" Chris gave Madelyn a smirk. She started yelling at him in Italian and I no longer knew what was being said. All I know was that she was pissed. She grabbed him by the ear and dragged him into another room.

"Well, he's scopata." Carson chuckled. "Fucked."

I sat on the couch and dazed, trying to put things together. Nothing. I don't know why I would be here, maybe this is a sick joke to them, maybe kidnapping is what they do for fun. Who knows anymore with people nowadays right, I mean maybe they'll bring me back home or something.

'Yeah, wishful thinking. Are you dumb, why the hell would they bring you back? If anything I think they might just kill you, ya know, destroy all evidence. I bet they'll burn your body and use the ashes as fertilizer for their flowers.' The stupid voice in my head blabbed on about how they would have no reason to spare me, no reason to free me, no reason to let me live.

Madelyn walked back into the room, Chris dragging his feet along behind her.

"I'm very sorry Riley for how my stupido brother treated you, I see his reasoning, but it wasn't needed. You do need to understand though, we cannot let you leave. I promise everything will make sense soon." She sadly smiled at me, the strength in her voice never dulling.

I wiped my sweaty palms on my dress and tucked a strand of hair behind my ear.

"It's time to go, I will take the girl, you guys will follow." Chris looked down at me and held his hand out once again. I contemplated taking it this time, feeling too weak to stand, but I kept my hand to my side.

"Yes, sir." Carson walked by me and smiled, he grabbed a set of keys off the rack by the door and left.

"Come on Gattina" Chris began to reach for my arm and I backed away.

"I don't have time for you to be defiant, we need to go. Please just trust me." his voice was filled with impatience and sounded almost like a plea.

I hesitated. I looked over at Brooklyn in Madelyn's arms and began to walk toward the door.

"Thank you" Chris mumbled as he walked over and put his hand on my back lightly pushing me toward the door and keeping me close. I tensed up.

Chris held the car door open for me, I climbed in and he slammed the door. He turned the key and the car came to life. As we drove I looked out the window, trying to figure out where we were, how far we were from my family and friends. I watched as trees, people, and stores all passed by me in a blur.

We pulled into a parking lot, a few people were walking to and from the door, all dressed in tuxedos and fancy dresses. Carson held the door open for us to walk in, a man in a tux with a towel hanging from his arm nodded his head toward Chris. We followed the man to a big table.

"questa è la ragazza, non lasciarla fuori dalla tua vista o avrò la tua dannata testa appesa al muro" Chris mumbled to the waiter and he nodded quickly, his intense glare never leaving me.

The waiter turned and began to walk away, he froze for a moment before he turned back and looked at me again.

He mouthed words to me, but I couldn't tell what they were and that didn't help the fear that was already rapidly growing inside me.
