First k...

At the end of the school day, Cheryl invited Toni to Pops. She thought that other people weren't  going to be there so she agreed to go. When they arrived, Toni realised that everybody else was there: Jughead, Betty, Veronica, Archie, Josie and Kevin. She suddenly felt very awkward and out of place. 

There wasnt enough space for everybody to sit in one booth so Cheryl, Josie and Toni stood at the side. Josie and Kevin took everybody's orders and walked to the counter. Toni and Cheryl noticed everybody acting weird, almost like they were talking about them behind their backs. Cheryl suddenly blushed as she thought about it, had they found out?

Toni: "Cher, are you Okay?"

Cheryl: "Yeah, I'm okay"

Toni: "Well your face is almost as bright as your lipstick"

Cheryl tried to cover her very pink cheeks with her hands. Veronica and Betty started giggling while Jughead and Archie smirked at each other. Josie turned around just in time to see Toni gently lift Cheryl's pale hands off of her cheeks. Josie quickly turned around to tell Kevin what just happened. Once Toni realised that Veronica was smiling at her, she quickly parted her hands from Cheryl's and folded her arms.

Kevin and Josie carried all of the drinks back to the booth and smirked at each other. 

Kevin: "So, whats been going on here?"

Veronica: "Oh Nothing, just Cheryl and Toni flir-"

Cheryl glared at Veronica before she could finish her sentence.

Kevin: "Oh I get it"

Cheryl: "You get what? What is there to get?"

Cheryl spoke very quickly and Toni noticed her getting nervous. 

Toni: "Calm down Red"

Archie: "Red?"

Jughead: "So cheryl, whats your nickname for Toni?"

Cheryl: "Don't have one..."

Betty: "Yes you do Cheryl"

Josie: "Cheryl, tell us"

Kevin: "If she won't tell you then I will! It's Cha Cha"

Veronica: "Cha Cha? That's cute"

Toni felt her phone buzzing in her jacket pocket. She took it out to see who it was. She declined the call pretty quickly and decided to text Cheryl even though they were right next to each other.

-texts- 

Toni: Are you sure you're okay?

Cheryl: Yeah, I guess I'm fine

Toni: You're not, what's up?

Cheryl: The ceiling of Pops?

Toni: Very funny! Now tell me what's wrong

Cheryl: No, it doesn't matter

After a couple of minutes, Toni got a text message from Jughead.

Jughead: Toni, why are you texting Cheryl?

Toni: Private conversation Jug

Jughead: You could've gone outside or something

Toni: Then everyone would say that we are going outside to flirt or something

Jughead: But you are flirting, you have been this whole time

Toni glared at Jughead and put her phone back in her pocket. She felt someone looking at her so she turned her head to see Cheryl staring at her. She raised her eyebrows a little and smiled softly. Cheryl quickly snapped out of it and turned her head to look the other way. Josie chuckled to herself and shook her head. 

Josie texted Cheryl

Josie: Cher, make a move girl

Cheryl: Excuse me?

Josie: just do it, I know you want to

Cheryl: you know I want to what?

Josie: You like her Cheryl, she likes you. It's pretty damn obvious 

Cheryl texted Toni 

Cheryl: Can I talk to you for a second?

Toni: sure, what's up?

Cheryl: Outside? 

Toni: uh okay...

Cheryl took hold of Toni's arm and led her out of Pops. They walked further away from the window that their friends were sitting at. Toni felt herself beginning to blush so she looked awkwardly to the side. 

Cheryl: Toni can I ask you something?

Toni: Sure

Cheryl: What do you think of me? Honestly...

Toni: uhh

Cheryl: Am I that bad?

Toni: No, you're not bad at all

Cheryl: So I'm good?

Toni: Yeah, no, that's not what I meant. 

Cheryl: Then what did you mean?

Toni: Why are you even asking me?

Cheryl: Because I want your opinion 

Toni: Why mine? Why not Josie's or Betty's?

Cheryl: Because I don't care about their opinions 

Toni: But you care about mine?

Cheryl: JUST ANSWER THE QUESTION! Please...

Toni: Wow, why are you getting angry over this?

Toni began to walk away but Cheryl grabbed her hand before she got too far.

Cheryl: Please, I'm sorry

Toni: Why do you care so much about my opinion?

Cheryl: Because...

Toni:Because Why?

Toni and Cheryl looked at each other and couldn't take their eyes off of one another. In the spur of the moment, Cheryl stepped forward and kissed Toni. Cheryl quickly apologised and tried to walk away, however, Toni held Cheryl's arms and kissed her back. She had never felt this before, neither had Cheryl. Toni suddenly blushed and her eyes widened.

Toni: Your lipstick

Cheryl: What about it?

Toni: Is it on my face?

Cheryl: Yeah a little

Toni frantically tried to wipe Cheryl's bright red lipstick off of her lips but it was no use. Neither Cheryl nor Toni had makeup remover. Toni and Cheryl began to panic and realised that they had to give up. They blushed as they walked back into Pops and Toni tried to cover her mouth with her jacket.
